Wall-Crawler: Improved Movement: Ignores Hindering & Elevated Terrain. 6 Arms.: Flurry. When he uses it, he may may an extra close attack for FREE. Venomous Bite: Poison. Mystical Webbing: Super Strength & Incapacitate.
Geez. Norman really is obsessed with having his own Spider-Man, isn't he? I've never even heard of this version, but a quick wiki rundown gave me what I needed to know. That's some messed up stuff.
I dig the dial. Has plenty of potential for damage despite lower damage values. He's definitely the one you send after the support staff, cleaning house on the little guys to leave room for your more powerful fighters to take on the big guns.
ASK ME ONCE I’LL ANSWER TWICE JUST WHAT I KNOW I’LL TELL BECAUSE I WANNA!
SOUND DEVICE AND LOTS OF ICE I'LL SPELL MY NAME OUT LOUD BECAUSE I WANNA!

Huge thanks, No-Name! I'd HIGHLY recommend checking out Ellis' run of Thunderbolts for some of the best Osborn rants you're likely to see!
Before making the set, I didn't know too much about Ai Apaec, but loved the idea of a murderous, shapeshifting spider demon. Thus far, I've only read his appearance in the Osborn limited series by Kelly Sue Deconnick, but I gather that he's mostly popular for his time in Parker's Dark Avengers, which I'm eager to see.
Glad you dug the dial! All of these dials were created a few months in advance, and posting now, I'm noticing some weaknesses in them, chiefly that the difference between 100/75 & 75/50 as point values can be a little nebulous. Hopefully the differences in stats and usefulness of abilities differentiates them better.
If you're going to read the Parker run, I won't spoil anything, but Ai Apaec from that probably warrants an LE. It's not a very long series and I feel like he spent most of it in a weird situation.

Whoa, cool! I scanned the Dark Avengers wiki, and I can definitely do something with that. He might wind up looking like a slightly more rounded-out wol099 Despotellis.
Think I'll add that dial to the set after the main list has concluded. Big thanks, DarkBlueAnt!

Infrared Scope: Improved Targeting: Ignores Hindering Target Lock: Precision Strike. Going Native: If Death Locket is on a Masters of Evil Themed team, +1 Damage.
Paladin is one of those characters that I don't quite "get." I've seen him in a bunch of comics, he works with Silver Sable, and that's about it. Sure, the wiki covers his motivations and abilities, but he just feels like a generic super soldier to me. ::shrugs::

Man that is an awesome dial! The traited triple flurry paired sith steal energy is a nice trick . Only thing I would change is add IM: Elevated, and not sure what he has the swim ability lol
This makes me more eager to see what we get in the op kit in Feb
Winning the game means little if it is not with the characters that I would want to win!

Thanks, Dasaul29! I've added the IM: Elevated (which should've been a no-brainer, really)! Crazy thing is, swimming is listed as one of his major abilities. Dunno if you've read DeConnick & Rios' Osborn, where Ai Apaec debuted, but what he does in the water is singularly impressive!
Definitely hope the op dial is amazing! Would love to add him to my team!

Couple things:
- Paladin has a couple aliases, and each should be listed, including Paul Dennis
- Paladin wears tactical armor, so he should have toughness instead of ES/D; perhaps a defense special that ignores incap/poison as well
- He should be a wildcard/team player and one of those 'doesn't count against theme' type guys; if part of a theme team, he gets -5 to his point cost
- I'd replace RCE with traited Perplex
- To give him something that reflects his planning/merc stuff, give him a 'Free: once per game, can use Running Shot'

My responses:
-Added multiple aliases. Good call!
-I used ES/D to reflect his tactical armor and his “Slightly Superhuman” trait to reflect his advanced speed (Running Shot), endurance (Toughness), super-strength (Quake), and reflexes (Super Senses), but variable to A. Keep the points low and B. Reflect that he’s enhanced, but not exactly superpowered. ::shrugs:: Think we conceptualize the powers differently.
-Traited Perplex seems a bit powerful, IMHO. My logic in the Ranged Combat Expert was that it could cover Paladin’s marksmanship and that Quake could double for his martial arts prowess.
-Wildcard makes sense. Added Spider-Man Ally TA. Tweaked down his range to compensate.
-I’d figured Stealth & Sidestep would cover his spy and merc prowess. With the "Slightly Superhuman" trait, there's no need to add another Running Shot opportunity.
As before, big thanks for the feedback, Jetpack! It's interesting to see how people design dials. Yours seem to be focused on the characters' psychology and tactics, and mine are focused on the characters' powerset and ability levels.
Who has jingoistic robots? Thunderbolts has jingoistic robots. Nuke rules. I don't think I've ever seen a bad run with this guy.

Red, White, or Blue?: FREE: At the beginning of your turn, you MUST choose one:
-Red: +1 all combat stats. At the beginning of your next turn, deal Scourge 1 unavoidable damage.
-White: Precision Strike & -1 Damage.
-Blue: Heal 2 Damage, and Scourge cannot take any other action.
Maaaaaan. I never like it when they take a deliberately silly villain and "grim 'n grit" him up to make him cool. I always feel like it misses the whole point of the character. That's a dang good dial, and I can't fault you for the terrible creative direction they took the character in for this book, but my goodness I hate it when they do that.

It'd be like making a Razorback piece without an electric pig hat, giant yellow dishwashing gloves, or a truck pog.
