Speaking of the Redeemers, here's another one. Again, I tried to tinker with the point system to see what I could get away with, sacrificing speed for defense and damage.

Laser Filaments Wings: If Beetle has no Action Tokens, she can use Giant Reach: 4 & Exploit Weakness.
I like this Beetle but IMO she seems a little too protected, IIRC she gets smooshed by Graviton in a instant.
seeing all these previews makes me wish this was the set we were getting next and not the Battleword set. Heres hoping at least a few of the Runaways get MoE, but im not holding my breath.

Holy crap, that's incredible praise! Thank you so much!
Totally see where you're coming from about Graviton! My goal for Davis-Beetle was that she could double for Abner-Beetle and that she had stats that clearly differentiated her from an Iron Man clone, both of which translated to "tank." I suppose she could be redialed to a 75/50 point piece to make her capable of being OHKOed by aou102 Graviton, but I'd worry there that it'd undercut the piece and necessitate redialing the other Redeemers to fit that paradigm.
The other solution might be Graviton himself. The omnipotence and geographical omniscience he displays in his Thunderbolts appearances are bonkers and probably put him in the realm of 500-800 points. A hypothetical piece like that could absolutely deal out OHKOs like candy!
Asm033 Man-Thing is a perfect Man-Thing. The only troubles facing him are the last few years of power creep. I can justify the character at 200 points, but at 100, he starts showing his limitations. This version is an attempt to update one of my favorite pieces.

Whatever Knows Fear...: Poison. It deals +1 Damage per Action Token on the target character. The Swamp-Walker: If Man-Thing occupies Hindering or Water Terrain, he heals 1 Click at the beginning of his turn and does not subtract from his Regeneration rolls. Protector of the Nexus: Man-Thing can use Phasing/Teleport. Man-Thing can use the Carry ability and when he does, he may carry two characters that share a keyword with him and his speed value is not modified by it. Infinite Dimensions & Possibilities: Exploit Weakness & Probability Control.
I'm sorry that this thread routinely throws shade at Bendis, but if you're writing a team comic, you have to make sure every member of the team feels distinctive. A reader should be able to say concrete things about everybody. I read all of Dark Avengers where he was a major character, and everything I know about him came from wikipedia & heroclix.
I still think Ultimate Spider-Man was one of the greatest comic runs of all time, though.

UPDATED: 9/20/18 as per Dasaul29's notes! Big thanks!
So here's another cheat. I REALLY like cw027 Genis-Vell, so I thought I'd update the dial to make it consistent.

Overwhelming Realities: Genis-Vell can use Perplex. When he does, roll a d6 and modify the following value based on the result:
1. Speed 2. Attack
3. Defense 4. Damage
5. Range 6. All Cosmic Absorption: Steal Energy, can also be used at Ranged. Can not heal past starting line.

Man this takes me down memory lane with the nor-varr we got from WOS. I love those dark avenger pieces and how great they were at the time. That bulleye made folks cry . However, Nor-Varr was a force to be reckoned with. This would be an awesome update!
Only change I would make is to shorten his 125 dial to 2 clicks and increase some of those stats like attack and defense. I consider what he has now slightly below average in this day and age (cant believe im having to say that lol).
Winning the game means little if it is not with the characters that I would want to win!

Many thanks for the feedback! Definitely seems like those old Dark Avengers pieces were crazy fun.
Hmmm... checking out modern 125 point pieces, 7-8 clicks are about average. How would you feel about just bumping up the front-dial stats? Seems like that would be consistent with modern design!
EDIT: Updated front end of Noh-Varr's stats to better justify his point value!

Sooooo this guy looks like he needs a gofundme for a taco!
Why the dismissal stats? I could maybe see the mechanic with stop clicks. Im assuming I missed something. Lol
