I really dig that "Mentally Unravelling" trait. Norman's biggest enemies as Iron Patriot were his immense ego and his tenuous grasp on sanity, and this feels like a great way to homage that, not to mention that he's really susceptible to a good Outwit.
My single favorite Iron Patriot moment was when he tried to take down Spider-Man, but was severely damaged by a design flaw that he couldn't see but Spidey did and exploited. Spidey reasoned that the Unibeam reactor was shaped in either a circle or a pentagon for a reason, and plugged Norman's star unibeam reactor up with webs, leaving a haughty and overconfident Norman to try and burn through it, but instead destroying his own chest plate in the process.
This is a Norman who would totally destroy his own chest plate due to overlooking crucial details in his arrogance, and I like that.
Huge thanks, No-Name! Glad you like it! That story sounds fun! Was that in New Ways to Die? I recently considered reading it, but I didn't like the idea of Songbird apparently joyfully fighting Spider-Man. Didn't jive with how I imagine the character. I could be VERY mistaken about the arc!

He literally had the hero community on the run and in hiding. Not to mention being able to wage war against asgard. These resources is where his power and strength came from, as he was a novice with the armor which didn't even have repulsors.
EDIT: would be awesome if he had a trait that you could buy for "The List" when he had a hit list for his enemies. Could be like president lex Luthor's bounty trait.
Huge thanks for the feedback! I definitely appreciate it and the insight! I'm only really familiar with Iron Patriot from Bendis' Dark Avengers and Siege, which was good for his psychology, but not for much else. I updated the piece with your notes. Let me know what you think!

Oh I was not saying you have to change him, but that power certainly makes him better and gives him more of the feel i was thinking of. The list was a cool little series. When osborn came into power, he made a list of his enemies and sent members of his dark avengers to kill them. I have to reread some of them. Only ones I really remember is daken dismembering punisher and the one about ronin.
Winning the game means little if it is not with the characters that I would want to win!

Oh, don't get me wrong-- I'm VERY happy to have the feedback and to have made a better version of the character!

Oh nice! Many thanks! I should probably check this out. I'm not wild about most crossover events, but post-Civil War-era Marvel was such an interesting time...

Gorgon’s Sight & Toxie’s Touch: Poison. Roll d6, 4-6, give an adjacent opponent an Action Token. Red Hulk’s Strength & Skaar’s Blade: Super Strength & Blades/Claws/Fangs. Vision’s Phasing: Phasing/Teleport. If Super-Adaptoid moves half its speed or less, Attack as FREE.
One of the things I most love about the Thunderbolts are the brevy of complex female characters.
While Moonstone might steal the spotlight most of the time, Songbird might be deeper and richer -a woman with a truly harrowing past who once once masqueraded as a hero until she sought to become one, not for glory, but for redemption in the fullest extent of the meaning.
You see her grapple with that throughout the Ellis and Diggle runs in particular, where she realizes that to be a good person, she has to become an outlaw against the Osborn brand of fascism.
Although she's made great strides, she knows that deep in her heart, she's only one bad day away from a relapse.
Sonic Constructs: At the beginning of your turn, pick one: Ranged Combat Expert, Smoke Screen, Barrier, Telekinesis, Incapacitate, or Pulse Wave. Songbird has that until you pick again. When Songbird uses Running Shot, instead of making a ranged attack, she can use one of these instead. Leader of the T-bolts... Sometimes: Leadership & Perplex.
Probably my favorite male member of the Thunderbolts, Ghost may be a stinking lurker, his woke paranoia and conspiracy theorizing about government leaders and tech giants makes him a great anti-hero of the 99%.
Intangible Spy: Phasing/Teleport. Ghost may occupy a space of Blocking Terrain if it is adjacent to any other non-special, non-blocking terrain. If he does, it must be destroyed before he can be targeted, except for abilities or traits that ignore/destroy Blocking Terrain. Industrial Saboteur: At the beginning of your turn, pick Outwit, Incapacitate, or Perplex. Ghost has that power until the end of the turn. Hit opposing characters with the Robot, Armor, or Vehicle keywords targeted by this Ability take 1 penetrating damage.
I'm so bummed the newest Bolts ended with Ghost finally doing something. Seems like its never going to happen now but the adventures of Ghost and Jolt sound great.

Totally agree! I think the issue was Zub’s Thubderbolts were never able to distinguish themselves a single their own thing; they were always an event-proxy book. First Pleasantville, then Civil War II, then they got dragged into Secret Empire. Sub was doing interesting enough things with the characters that they should continued in the way of Avengers Academy-Arena-Undercover.
Who knows, maybe the next writer will pick up the story in 3-5 years...
Our last Runaway is, of course, Nico Minoru. IMHO, wi031 Nico Minoru is the definitive Nico, but she's also just a hair overcosted. Sure, she can pick powers like crazy, but Wizkids tends to only cost based on what's on the dial.
I tried to keep her at 50 points by removing a dial and compensating with one more Willpower. Dunno if that's enough overall, but hey, that lets you have all the Undercover Avengers on one slick, 300 point team!

Sister Grimm: Give Nico Minoru a free action and choose up to two standard powers, each of a different combat type. You may not choose a power from a type chosen during your last turn. Nico Minoru can use the chosen powers until your next turn.

The God of War: Ares’ damage cannot be reduced below his printed damage value. Fight to the Bitter End: Characters within 4 spaces of Area can’t use Shape Change or Mastermind.
Oooooh. Ares is NASTY. He's not fast, but dagnabbit, he doesn't need to be. He just needs to wade into combat and wreck faces. LOVE IT.
Huge thanks, No-Name! Real talk: Should he be faster, maybe minimum speed of 6? I figured that his ridiculously high damage would balance him out, but if he's too much of a target, it sort of defeats the purpose.
