It’s him. It’s actually him. I’ve been begging for him since the start of Heroclix and even once ran a contest promoting getting him and Pieter into the game...wow, about 13 years ago?!? He’s even pretty decent for the “Lite” GA figures they’ve been tossing at us since the Joker set. Pretty stoked and may have to go back to buying bricks to make sure I get him. :)
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

I wish he had a similar power set, with defend and support top dial. so he can more easily heal non-JSA characters, with the higher 10 attack, followed by Perplex.
Look, I'm not sure there is a perfect clix out there. Someone is always gonna have beef with something about every clix, but this guy is super close. He is my favorite old-skool JSA guy, and im just ghlad to have in modern. Now all i need is a modern Blue Beetle (jaime). Stop moving that op kit around
Win/Loss: 7-3 Dr. Mid-Nite finally enters the "carded world" and I am content with this piece. While I'm not fan of the short-dialed JSA screw-job, Mid-Nite makes the most of his 45 points. Great starting click, supporting from short range and giving out Stealth when his pals need to clear, my only beef is the drop of the power on click 2 - as it really devalues that click. His final two clicks are a dangerous time as McNider has neither stealth nor a high defense to protect him as he tries to heal injured teammates. Offense comes in the form of Hooty, who is quite potent punching though Imperv - even if comic inaccurate. Overall, I like this version, even if he dangerously short on life. UPDATE 2021: That dangerously short life is insanely problematic in a game where players can peek at the dial. 45 points is okay for a Perplexer with a special smoke cloud but he won't get much chance to heal anyone. Needs STOP clicks. Maybe in his next go around in, what, 2030?

Reason: Update W/L 11/7/21
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
I'm not one to complain about something nigh-perfect, but it would be amazing if instead of "friendly characters occupying smoke cloud markers can use stealth", how about "Smoke Cloud. Friendly characters occupying hindering terrain can use stealth." Then he would be meta beauty to me.
While I wish that Mid-Nite wasn't the main source of JSA Perplex (before Billy Batson comes out), I do love having access to Hooty. I've gotten so many 4 damage attacks with that owl thanks to JSA Empower (which is very common) along with light objects. My local players know the fear of Hooty.
