Hi guys next week i’m going to go to WKO. Player base in my area gets really competitive and I would like to be a worthy opponent for them. I have bulit five teams, would you please tell me what do you think about them and help me choose the most competitive one(300 points modern)?
Here are the teams:
1. Thor destroyer prime(swbw)(220 points)
Manta wko promo(40 points)
Manta wko promo/the skull(ex)(40 points)
2. Regent(swbw)(240 points)

Night nurse(CW)(20 points)
3. Ultimate thor(swbw)(125 points)
Big boss hill(swbw)(85 points)
Dino thor(swbw)(90 points)
4. Photon chase(ai)(90 points)
Tigra chase(ai)(50 points)
Iron goblin(swbw)(150 points)
Giant girl Ff(ai)(10 points)

X-51(ex)/cosmic spiderman(whatif 75 points)

Newer player, but willing to help. Do you have exospex or the goblin glider? The would vastly improve photon. It depends how restricted you are, I would throw in some id cards and colossal retaliation.
If I had to go based purely upon what is listed, I like team 5 the best. With Cosmic Spidey over x51
I'd go with team 1 or team 3. But overall, I'm a little concerned about a lack of flexibility on these teams (lack of sideline pieces - either ID Cards, Shifting Focus, Troubalert, etc. and Pick-A-Power). I think you might consider leaving 5 or 10 points for a call-in or a special object.

Detroyer Thor is so cannot use the 'Spex.
IMO the best candidate for Exospex is TMT106e Hulk. This 62-pt combo can really bring the hurt with HSS, potentially getting 3 x attacks in one Action.
If you have access to this Hulk, based on the other figs you list I would try:
50 TMT106E Hulk
12 WKMP19-S001 Exospex
100 SWB022E Ultimate Thor
90 SWB055 Dino-Thor
40 WKMP19-103 Manta
Total = 292
You have the 5-pt Jean Grey ID Card, but if you can obtain the Student Jean ID Card you would have room for 2 x Call-In's.
I do like the team Batphreak has recommended. If you don't have the Jean Grey Student ID Card, and are looking to spend the last three points, I'd suggest the Dueling Sword and put it on Ultimate Thor.

Nice call, Sir Arthur! (On the Dueling Sword, not just for liking my build! ). Ultimate Thor with a "Thor-Crony" + Equipment is great since he can easily Equip in one Turn w/ MR. ULTIMATE THOR.
With a little creative movement, Dino-Thor can use HSS to pick-up the 'Spex during the first movement phase, drop-off the 'Spex in Hulk's square with the second movement phase, and end up his movement near the other Equipment for Ultimate Thor to MUT next to Dino to grab the gear.
Check w/ the Judge re: HSS before trying this maneuver, since I have heard some Judges do not allow HSS to be activated unless there is a legitimate target for an attack. The WORF has ruled that "...If the attack is unable to be made or you have no legal targets, the second move still occurs...." but the Judge is the Final Word. Always best to check w/ the Judge before a potential situation arises.

Hulk picks Hypersonic. His trait lets him quake after he moves. He runs up. Stops. Gets to do his hypersonic attack and his quake attack. Then he finishes his move. Quakes again.

I think your best bet is to tell us what pieces, ID cards, and equipment objects you have available. Also let us know which figures you really want to use. Then we can come up with a great 300pt team together.

That's not how that works. The Quakes happen after resolutions, so you have to resolve the Hypersonic before they go off. In order it's move, attack, move, Quake, Quake.
