absolutely fantastic. well worth the wait since the uncarded rev. topdial team support. and ramps up the punching when the going gets rough. so much sweet science in this pugilist dial that really packs a punch. there's a reason he's the champ

Agreed. The rest of the JSA ain't great, but they NAILED Wildcat.
I still prefer your version for the synergy, though...
THIS. Why was this so much to ask for from the other JSA members? There's more than enough room on their dials to do two starting lines, or outright split dials, or "+5: can use Toughness" or ANYTHING. It pains me knowing it's going to be another 2-5 years before we get a real chance of cracking that nut again. But, ya know, this Wildcat will be slugging it out even then, I expect. Or, going by when Origins came out, a full nine years. Well crap, now I'M starting to feel old.

Feb 2015: JL Trinity War has have given us the CSA, playable and together. Twice. ROCK ON!
REClixed: Justice for Dmitri Pushkin (your sacrifice will not be forgotten)! New generic Rocket Red @50-75 points while we're at it? Still no 19DV Defender? (WoS Groot doesn't count)
Power Girl AND Bust.
Best boxer ever, Wildcat is really comic accurate(The Sorry Pal is a cherry in the cake). A shame the other members of the SJA does not receive this attention. =(
Win/Loss: 10-6 Wildcat is pretty close to what I wanted in a modern dial design. While I would have liked a longer dial and some flurry, I'm content with a strong, cheap close-combat specialist. Ted starts with teaching the younger generation a lesson. Quake to wreck formations, the Empower really helps with the other close-combat JSA pals deal extra damage. After taking a hit, his retaliatory attacks are designed to hit hard OR work a mean jab with a 12/13 attack. Wildcat is often KO'd in my games as he is in the front lines, pounding away on the opposition. Thanks to his 65 points (and the JSA TA), opponents need to use many more points of figures to try and put Ted Grant down for good. Great figure and a favorite of mine. EDIT 2021: No real gain with the 2021 rules changes, Wildcat's low defense hurts him in a game where massive modifications are the new normal. Hopefully in my lifetime there will be a new updated dial.

Reason: Update W/L 11/7/21
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
I could see myself using the new Octopus Arms to give the champ some increased damage output while Not making things too unfun for an opponent to face.
