Im so happy that this figure does justice for the Man-beast character...it would've been easy for whizkids to dismiss him as a crappy no name 50 point figure. In all actuality man beast is quite the bad ass in comics. Although he's no popular he's physically tangoed with Thor. He's a master manipulator as he masqueraded as a United States senator manipulating politics for years! Unlike alot of impatient super villians who rely on power, manbeast has an IMMENSE amount of patience with his schemes. He sits back and waits, subtlety moving pawns on the board to accomplish his goals. He was the actual devil equivalent on counter earth opposite of Adam Warlocks position of counter earths savior. He is also quite a powerful telepathic and mindcontroller, he effectively mindcontroled the entire Avengers team to kill warlock and storm Monster Island! Manbeast is a shapeshifter and mystic adept. His cape is made from an unknown material that can teleport him around. Hence the phasing/teleport. This guy remains to be one of my favorite villians.

His dial is ridiculous for his point cost. Penetrating blast, bladed/claws/fangs, shape change with a roll of 4-6. Free mind control action, outwit, leadership etc...I do think that four clicks of mastermind is a bit much. I usually don't enjoy seeing mastermind enddial but it opens up alot of options. You can push to a certain click and stay there via mindcontrol! The look on your opponents eyes when you just dealt 3 penetrating damage and immediately after you mincintrol him to jump off an elevated bridge. Im also glad they chose this design for the sculpt. His older designs as a weird werewolf, monkey cave man we're terrible.

Got this guy in from a trade where the other party saw him on my "Wants" list & threw him in. Now I can't remember what I even wanted him for. A "Man-" team? A "Beast" team? A Kights of Wundagore team? Seriously, someone help me out with this.

Play him with adam warlock and the high evolutionary. For a comic accurate family team. :)
