Detective Comics #1,000, which releases in March, will have a number of variant covers. In addition to the primary cover, a wraparound by Jim Lee, there are different covers based on the decades of Batman's existence. I'll not repeat what can more easily be read in the article here:

My question for you, supposing you were to purchase a copy in March when it comes out, which of the covers would you prefer?

I'd go with the Steve Rude cover representing the 1930's.
