SO - Can you use giant reach with hypersonic speed?
AND can you use Blades Claws Fangs with hypersonic speed?
AND can you use flurry with hypersonic speed?

I am reasonably sure that the answer is no in all cases, but where, and what, do the most recent rules actually SAY ?

Giant reach yes. Just needs a close attack

Flurry, blades claws fangs NO- needs CLOSE

Thanks - I knew it was / would be in the PAC - the dyslexia makes it hard to find stuff in fields of print, even if I know it's there, and I was being asked an "in-game" question. As it turns out, I was right on 2 and wrong on one.

Safe bet, unless stated in power, nothing works with hypersonic speed. Even object attacks no longer work with it.

Precision Strike and Steal Energy (melee only) work with Hypersonic Speed because those powers specifically work when you make an attack.

Character can also make a ranged attack, but value is halved (according to the PAC).

Ok... those 2 work with it... but nothing else.

Well...those, and Plasticity, and Force Blast, and Super Strength (knockback/object pickup), and Battle Fury, and Probability Control, and Improved Movements/Targetings, and most Keyphrases, and a few other things on the PAC... Oh, and numerous different Traits and Special Powers that various characters have.

It's best to just use the understanding that you can't activate actions, or use effects that depend on the use of non-Power action types, during HSS, unless otherwise stated.
