When Absorbing Man is hit with an object or is given a power action when adjacent to a heavy or light object, place that object on his character card and remove any other objects that are on it. When Absorbing Man has a light object on his character card, modify his attack and damage values by +1. When Absorbing Man has a heavy object on his character card, modify his attack and damage values by +2.
if AM has an object on his card is he technically considered to be "holding an object"?
my guess is no, i think this power is unique and is different than the standard way characters hold objects
URU METAL: When Absorbing Man is dealt damage or healed, roll a d6 that can't be rerolled. Absorbing Man ignores the damage dealt or healed unless it is the same as the result of the d6. This power can't be countered or ignored.
i wonder... would this power work against mystic damage?... since mystic is now only penetrating damage
Yes, if he hits a Mystic, he'll roll for his power.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
Him and any figs with invincible have greatly benefited from the change to mystics. The only way to definitely hurt him is still incap to put a second token on him as pushing can't be avoided unless he gains WP somehow.

Oh wow, I didn't realize that Invincible reduces Mystics damage?
Wild!

Yep, with the new rule changes in 2017 came an update to the TAs. You can find the whole list on the WIN and most of them were just updated to the current language (e.g. Batman Ally became "Stealth" instead of "this character can use stealth") but a few were updated as they were obsolete or (in their opinions) too powerful for the point cost. So far, all of the "move actions don't count towards action total" (as well as Injustice League, and KC) have been replaced by entirely different ones... Mystics, Outsiders, and the AV/DV replacers have been modified to adjust their power level.
As to Mystics, it's now penetrating damage after actions resolve and Invincible is unaffected by penetrating damage so it doesn't affect them.
