I think this is my turn. Galactus declares a multiattack. Then, for first move, moves to F1-F3, K1-K3. Next, Attacks with Close combat onto Amazo, using EXPLOIT WEAKNESS) I rolled a 10 (plus Galactus' 16). However, I expect tyroclix will use Dr. Fate's probability control. So, let me know. I still have this (to reroll) and then a third attack.
I will say this: Galactus is too freakin' powerful! He should probably be more points. Still, Galactus should be nearly impossible to defeat. He is, after all, Galactus. I don't know how much fun he'd be to play against. Heck, I feel guilty playing him!
I think, atleast judging by the slowness of the posts, that everyone has pretty much given up. All you have to do is pulsewave the medics and everyone's primary hitter is useless. If you guys want that to be game say so.
We have maybe got a chance of knocking him down a couple of more points, but that's about it. I don't feel any real compelling reason to go ahead with this.
I was following this fight, and I don't think it was a fair fight from the start.
If you're going to fight an 1800 point Galactus, you need at least an 1800 point unified force. Though you were playing your teams as allies, that's not the same as an entire team working together in unison.
It'd be interesting to see what the fair point value for Galactus is in this type of situation though. How about letting all 4 players have 600 point teams, and try again?

Actually the biggest hindrance to this battle is the limits of Play-By-post. There are just too many figures to take into account to use an effective strategy.
A better game would be 600 point Galactus vs a 600 point army.
1800 G vs 1800 pts of figs is too much. That's 18 actions, not counting JLA, BH, AV, TC 'free moves', free actions, etc.
I'd love to play this game in person - Chuck (hint, hint). Maybe we can get some people together at Legacy and have a throw-down.
Either way, even in the hnads of just a competent player, Galactus is too powerful at 1800 pts to defeat. Someone like Chuck just knows how to use all his powers effectively that there's not much of a chance of defeating him...
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
OK, Galactus' reroll was a total of 24. It hits for 8 with exploit weakness. And, For the next attack, Galactus will use three beams, and NOT using his energy explosion. One beam, 3 clix of damage, to Amazo. 3 clix to the medic next to Fate and 2 clix to Fate. For that roll, Galactus rolls a 6. That, plus the 15, is 21.
And I'd love to play for real!
