Hark, another voice...heard crying in the wilderness!
EDIT: Boys, there's two things New York has that the rest of the country can't touch: bagels and pizza, not necessarily in that order. For those who know through experience, I'm happy for you. As for those who don't...well, I'm sorry for your trouble.
EDIT II:...and don't be telling me about the time you came to New York City and had a slice of junk with cheese and tomato sauce at some tourist trap in Times Square next to the store that sells picture postcards and miniatures of the Statue of Liberty. 'Cause that ain't New York pizza.

Tim Burton was right: "A square jaw does not a Batman make." Steve Buscemi as the next Batman! Luke Perry as Joker! Let's make it happen!
At the risk of starting something, and that is not my intent, I have the following to say:
New York Bagels = Montreal Bagels
Which is to say that I personally love each for their individual merits.
New York bagels are best with lox and capers, while a Montreal bagel with smoked meat and cream cheese is great as well.

Lived and worked in NY for a year. Hands down the greatest bagels in the world. No one is even a close second.
NY pizza I could take or leave. There were some good places, but nothing I would go out of my way for or that I miss now that I'm not near there. Though Lombardi's and Totonno's are pretty darn good. Then again the reason they are good is they are basically Naples-style wood or coal fired oven, thin crust pizza. I know a place in Chicago that does the same thing to the same effect (Spacca Napoli - crazy owner moved to Naples, Italy for 3 years to learn the style then flew back all the stone and sand to build his oven.).

Just as with beer, when it's comes to bagels and pizza, it's all about the water. New York water really is the key ingredient, IMHO.
Lombardi's is a great choice. But here's my personal favorite place for NY pizza, on the Queens side of the Triboro (now Robert F. Kennedy) Bridge --- though it's not a restaurant and there's no place to sit.
Have the GF Skull and Sin, and I know SLVR has Klaw (which I gave him). Look through my wants and see what we can do.
No, you gave me SIN. I would have much preferred Klaw, but hey, it was a free figure, so i wasn't going to be picky.
Also, as to the boston terrier video you posted earlier, I would have to still say that your dog is funnier. I'll have to see if I can get the video to load later to show everybody. I would have posted a comment to it earlier, but I was feverishly trying to finish my newest Deep Dish Themes article, found here:
