If they don't like it, they can get the old CT sculpt and swap them.
Now THAT'S a suggestion I especially like, since I believe I've already got an extra CT sculpt, separated from its dial, that maybe I could trade to someone who wants it!

Restaurants aren't going to tip their employees. In fact if the customers get froggy and decide to slip out without paying...

Oh, definitely.
My wife had a waitressing job while in high school, and I know enough people who had to put in time that way, so I know how it can be. I always try to keep that in mind.
Did you guys see the Gravity Feed/Countertop Display General Thunderbolt Ross preview? His Call In The Airstike power is downright lethal!!! I'm finally getting excited for the Hulk set!!!
He'll see plenty of use ultimately in broader Soldier teams. It does make me curious as to how different the Ross and Red Hulk in the main set will be from these versions, as they're only allowing this Ross to transform into this specific Red Hulk.
They made the Air Strike power once per game and apparently made him a unique, so they kept the situation from getting silly with multiple Rosses standing in their starting area, raining death and destruction down on opponents from the fourth turn forward.

Reason: Realized he couldn't use his Air Strike until he'd pushed and cleared.
Since I'm not a Hulk fan, I haven't been paying too much attention to this set (other than being happy that as somebody who loves the F4 keyword, I should be able get a She-Hulk right away and a Ghost Rider sometime later on), so I'll ask youse guys:
Have they made the Alter Ego mechanic any easier/better with this set?
I'm hoping that by the time WK finally gets around to doing Congo Bill-into-Congorilla, I'll be glad they did!

So far? No.
A while back someone promised they'd "do it right" this time, which went on to explain the ability to switch back and forth... but nothing's come of that so far. They've tried to make the pieces more useful with the mechanic, but it's fundamentally flawed when it come to characters who completely transform or even swap bodies with another being.
This latest example really just gives us General Ross with an option to let him find a full bottle of single malt whiskey and transform into a really mean drunk.
In fact, I think that's how I'm going to approach it when it comes to Bruce and Rick transforming in this set, too. They become numb to pain and go a bit out of control. Maybe we'll chant "Chug! Chug! Chug!" each time.

The closest they've come to an effective transformation mechanic has been with Beast Boy and, if they'd done better dials, this upcoming set's Punisher.
Tipping: I've always tipped something. The percentage depends upon the level of service, mitigated by how busy the place is and how stretched the wait-staff is. I don't penalize the wait-staff for kitchen slowness or, for the most part, for mistakes. My main issue with a waiter is whether or not I go thirsty. If I find myself rationing my drink (we're just talking iced tea or soda) or, worse, going dry and staying that way for more than a couple minutes, the tip begins to drop.
My view on tipping is very similar. I am an average-average+ tipper. I never go crazy and tip more than my meal cost or anything like I've known some people to do, but I never tip LESS than 15% unless the service is terrible. My tipping (Especially in buffet places like Golden Corral) is also very dependant upon how long I do/do not have to go without a drink just like Miraclo. If I have an empty glass ESPECIALLY in a place where that is the primary function of the waiter/waitress is to fill them, the tip goes down. Rarely do I ever tip less than 15% though, and only a FEW times have I ever NOT tipped. It has to be extremely bad service for me not to tip anything.

Finally got rid of the Supes banner. Hulk one looks sweet.

But I agree. TaT, once again, did a great job on the banner.

As the contestants on a certain game show I liked to watch would say at some point...
"Bob (Saget), I think I'd like to ask the mob..."
That said, to those who have the Wonder Woman LE Con Exclusive...have you played her and what do you think?
Thankee in advance.
I don't own her and haven't used her, but I have played against her and was amazed by how well she played. Super Perplex+near immunity to ranged attacks+permanent Willpower+late-dial Hypersonic Speed=really difficult to deal with.
Jonna absolutely LOVES her Con exclusive Wonder Woman. She is very lucky to have a Brother in Law and friends that spent a good portion of Gencon playing sealed games just to get her one. I can't personally say how she plays as I've never played her, but she gets an A+ in Jonna's book.

Thanks, fellas --- I really do appreciate your taking the time to comment, just as I appreciate Miraclo's response to my earlier query about the status of Alter Ego improvements.
Since that post, wondering about the Wonder Woman LE Con Exclusive, mine arrived in today's mail. To state the very least, I am greatly pleased to have her in my collection.
I already love her in every respect except how she's played in games, since that remains to be seen. But since I consider myself to be an average player on my best days, how she plays for me will not be any true indication of her strengths. But Jonna has been recognized as a highly skilled player and if SHE likes this WW, that says a lot, I think.
As it turns out, at the venue where I play on Thursdays, this week's scenario is 800 pts., all female figures. Ordinarily, this would be a PERFECT opportunity to try her out, but I've just learned that I'll be going to the wake for a friend's aunt that night. But I'm sure I'll get a chance to field my WW soon.
If I may...one more question: which Wonder Woman IS this, anyway?
Thanks again.

It's the Pre-"New 52" Wonder Woman where they tried to rewrite Wonder Woman's origin and her costume circa issue #500. We only ever read a few issues of it when we determined that it was crap and that our money was better spent elsewhere.

Thanks, Rob.
All I know about this version is that it's obviously the one that is tied to the costume controversy. But since she doesn't have any organizational keywords -- no Justice League or Justice Society -- on her character card, I really have been wondering about who she is and where she fits in the scheme of things.
