Really it is going to be a thinking piece, and they must have a reason for it, what it is I do not know. I try not to say this thing Stinks until I see the full set and really apply it.
Guys give the set some time to come out before making a rash judgement and just lashing out at it,
So who can use it from this Set?
Judging from the Scans, I'd say:
U Flash (but he has HSS on all 7 of his Clicks)
U Lex Luthor (but he only gets it for 1 Click when his Defense is over 17)
Vet Superman (but he'll have HSS when his Defense is above 17)
Robin (but he'll have leap/climb when he gets CR)
I say this Card is overcosted.
It should have been 10 Points and had less Pre-reqs (if any!).
Like a Defense of 17 or Higher.
Lots of Bricks with Running Shot or Charge have a 17 Defense as their highest Value.
Shake Off and Slippery could be a nasty combo, but who can use it right now? The V Ghost Rider is all I can think of off the top of my head but now I am curious who I can put those two cards on.
Vet Ghost rider cannot use it.
Defense has to be *higher* than 17.
As I said,
too many restrictions for too high a price.
I agree it is going to be a thinking piece...eh I don't feel I was complaining personally...I was just stating it seems like it cost too much. Just stating negatives with positives...I started finding uses for it right away and I stated in my post I plan to use it.
Who said YOU were complaining about it? I don't recall any names being mentioned.

Ahh good catch...it really should be 17 and higher...now I really don't have many characters I will personally use it on...but I'm sure I can find some niche.
And nobody said I was complaining, I just thought I'd make it a point to say I wasn't complaining about the card even though I don't necessarily like the price.
Heroclix 5th Anniversary: Expect Nothing...you won't be as disappointed that way.
15 points is too much when you see what 15 points can get you.
6th Place: WWE National Qualifier Finals, June 2008
Four Points Gaming Club: South
WWE National Qualifier Finals, June 2008, all four members of Four Points Gaming Club make the Top 8!
Why would I pay so much so one person (Who I might add probably has leap/climb or HSS) could defend against a power that's almost never used against me?
It does cost too much for what it does, but that's not my issue with it.
The real problem: Why was this card necessary in the first place? Like plasticity didn't suck enough, now they've got to punish the few characters who have it EVEN MORE? That's terrible.
Bad idea.
To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead.

eh, this card could of been better. I agree, it should of been cheaper (10pts max), and had different prequisites.
Examples:
16 and up Defense (after all, it just makes it easier to break away, not reducing damage)
CCE (Good example of an EXPERT at close combat would be able to easily break away from an opponent)
Charge (Why oh why can a SCIENTIST POG prevent JUGGERNAUT from charging???)
So, in my humble opinion, right now this is an "eh" card...
Not to mention all the bad jokes we will start hearing...
"Batman can't hit Robin because he is too Slippery"....
yeah. forget bringing my five year old to tournaments. last thing i need is her repeating "slippery" jokes at school.
It comes down to the fact that plasticity is a power few have and a situation that just about never comes into play....to pay 15 points for something you'll have rarely?
If you drop this on someone with ES/D or CR and that power gets outwitted....say you go in with a 17 D and get hit for 1 damage and now have a D of 16....no longer applies and you wasted 15 points.
The above goes for MOST feats, but this one will about never see it's value. and i LIKE feats....

Guys give the set some time to come out before making a rash judgement and just lashing out at it, the negative undertones are really starting to bring people down. Let's have fun with this stuff first and then we can complain. Cool beans?
I have it on good authority that a future FAQ will improve Slippery so that it also gives characters the ability to make base-to-base incapacitate rolls (at -2 AV), and will allow Injustice League members (in B-2-B) contact to "share" the slippery feat.
To date, there are no double-base or Giant figures that meet the prerequisites for this feat.
The card doesn't say unmodified defense though, right? So get Wasp or Antman, Thunderbolt them as Defenders, and then use Hawkeye, Black Knight, Yellojacket, Atlas, or wild card Awesome Andy with the Slippery/Shake Off combo. A bit expensive in all but might help to crack the new FF TA on occasion.
I guess you can plop it on new FF characters sharing LE sue storm DV. since it only needs a defence value of 17 or higher. But what good would that really do?

Actually, I guess that wouldn't work since that couldn't be counted as a pre-req to place the feat on the figure. :disappoin We would probably allow it in our home games though.
