"Tricky bastards," comments Mercy Danger Iscariot, scanning the end of the bridge through a pair of lightweight NAVY SEAL binoculars. She spots easily a few suspicious looking people and puts her binoculars down in her backpack. She looks around, her eagle-eye searching for any possible threats. All she sees are her comrades moving into position, each one investigating this situation. She grimaces and puts on her backpack.
She moves swiftly with ease. Her Black Ops training is kicking in as she skulks to hide underneath a police car. Her footprints make no noise; she is like a ghost in corporeal form. She quickly peers from under the car, squinting, to make out the shapes at the end of the bridge. Her black suit blends in perfectly under the belly of the police cruiser as she removes her backpack and throws it beside her. She glances briefly at Josh Brotherton, who is lying on the concrete beside her. "I wish he'd stop looking at my ###," she thinks, sighing. She looks at his 15-year-old face and grins in spite of herself. Then, she turns her head forward again, waiting patiently.
"I'll wait and see where this is going." Mercy thinks to herself. "For now...."
"They're a little out of range, can you give me a lift?"
Hype nodded, then grimaced as he focused his molecules more into his hand and arm so that he could carry Deadeye without taking anything from his molecular structure, then he dove into a nearby car with Deadeye in tow. Deadeye smiled, then made sure that the bullets hadn't been dislodged by the rather rough transit. The rear window of the car was already partially knocked out, and seemed ideal for cover.
The car bounced up and down a bit as the Crusher moved closer, then ripped the engine from the vehicle and held it up in the air, with a sort of war bellow. His overexuberance seemed to have hidden Identity's advance...
Kane perplexes up... Sebastion's movement by 1. That's his second use of perplex, and now he'll clear.

"So, is anyone actually attempting to work as a team? Only a couple of you actually followed me... and it looks like we've got trouble..."

Story: Mindbender's heart races, his mind on the verge of panic at the pending excitement. "What am I doing? I am just a kid! I could die!" These thoughts run though his brain at lightspeed. Then he remembers what his therapist said about finding your center. He slows his breathing, imagining a flowery hilltop, sitting under an old oak. Nbody around. He sighs calmly, collecting himself. From behind the motorcycle he speaks to his teammates "Alright guys. Where do you need me?"

Mercy studies the newly arrived Sebastion Graves. He looks like he's about to finish high school. Judging by his hairstyle and his fashion sense, she guesses it's more likely he is part of the Physics Club than the football team.
Hearing him ask for suggestions, she opens her mouth and begins to speak.
"Patience is key here," she replies in her silky-smooth voice. "it is essential we plan our movements in a orderly fashion."
She looks ahead down the highway. She could have sworn she saw something move near that lifeless semi. She blinks, looking around. Her teammates were doing a relatively good job of keeping quiet, even by her Black Ops standards.
Hearing Greyfeather, she turns to in his direction and speaks as quietly as possible.
"Give us a break!" she hisses. "I'm a good team player, but this is just our first outing. Let's just get moving!"
Looking once more at Sebastion, she nods.
"I'm waiting here for now until I see how this plays out a bit. It's part of the training." She pauses, then adds wryly, "We always pounce in when no one's looking."
She glances up and down at Sebastion and turns to Brotherton. She notes that he seems to be able to move quickly; superhumanly so.
"Do you think you can move ahead, recon a bit and zip back?" Mercy inquires.
As she finishes her request, she sighs. She was thrilled when the opportunity for this super-team came along. Imagining muscular, handsome men in the group was reason enough for her to go, besides wanting to make a difference. She glanced around again. Not exactly what she'd bargained for....
