Neo-Legion turn 5a

'Good,' thought the six-armed youth to himself, 'that freak is gone.' The strange, silent young man taken out by Wildfire's fury had been vying for the leadership of this group of super-powered underagers -- but, of course, in a conniving, secretive sort of way. Now, the other brains in the group saw his opportunity. He leapt off the structure and took cover inthe shadow of another building. This time, however, he directed his equipment at Wildfire. "Aargh!" said the energy-being known as Wildfire, as he felt as if his containment suit were tearing.

This gave the electrically-charged youth the opening he had been waiting for. He directed the ionic charge at Wildfire. The lightning blast tore at Wildfire and left him staggered. "Hah!" said the electricllay-laden youth. "You Legionnaires are just a bunch of hot air!"

Meanwhile, the young man in the armored suit grabbed the incredibly muscular brute and flew into the midst of the Legionnaires. "Let me at 'em!" yelled the behemoth, as he gathered his footing after the flight.



- Dr Octopus moves to R6 (leap/Climb). Dr Octopus Outwits Wildfire's Invulnerability.
- Electro attacks Wildfire > AV9 vs DV16 > roll: 6+5=11 HIT. Wildfire takes 3 damage.
- Beetle grabs Rhino and flies to T20, placing Rhino in S20.
- Vulture flies to R7.

2. Shadow Lass will push to attack Rhino. AV 8 vs DV 17. Roll is 6, 4. Whoa didn' think I'd get that. Rhino takes 2 clicks and Shadow Lass takes a push click.

Neo-Legion turn 6a

The Legionnaires did not seem prepared for such an onslaught. The behemoth growled in pain at Shadow Lass' attack, raised his thick arms high above his head and brought down two massive fists onto the structure's surface. The Rimborian building's roof buckled and a shockwave of plasteel rippled across the structure, striking Shadow Lass, Live Wire and Cosmic Boy and throwing them into the air. Fortunately, their flight rings saved them from falling to the ground far below.

Meanwhile, Wildfire could do little to defend himself against another barrage. A speedy youth raced up to the rooftop and began pummeling Wildfire, even as he was trying to get his bearings. Then the electrical storm from across the skyway hammered Wildfire again. It was too much, even for one of the Legion's strongest members. Wildfire fell to the ground, unconscious.

Yes, you're right about the knockback placement, sorry. I sort of imagined the Legionnaires hovering and being knocked back at the same height/level.

Neo-Legion turn 7a

The behemoth grunted and -- in spite of his limited intellect and exertion -- knew that he had a rare opportunity. "I'll show you uppity Legionnaires what it really means to be an underager and live it up." He charged across the roof toward Saturn Girl and Brainiac, who tried to muster their defenses.

"Behind me, quick!" shouted the Coluan, who activated his force field just in time. The wave of plasteel generated by the muscular youth ricocheted harmlessly off the force field. Saturn Girl glanced at Brainiac in gratitude and then turned her attention back to the exhausted behemoth.

Meanwhile, the winged youth and the six-armed youth advanced cautiously, using the shadow of a Rimborian structure as cover.



- Rhno pushes and Charges to T17 use Quake against both Saturn Girl and Brainiac > AV8 vs DV 14 and 15 > roll: 2+2=4 MISS. Rhino takes 1 pushing damage.
- Vulture moves to S14.
- Dr Octopus moves to R8 and Outwits Saturn Girl's Mind Control.

Neo-legion turn 9a

It was electrivity against electricity. Live Wire had been returned to the structure's rooftop thanks to Cosmic Boy and Garth could see as the lethal, electricity-laden youth climbed up tothe top of the next Rimborian structure. >KZZZOWNNT< Live Wire cut loose with all he had -- and it was enough. With a cry, the ruthless lad who had knocked out Wildfire was struck and thrown off the structure. He fell to the ground below with a sickening thud and remained there -- unconscious.

The muscular youth regained his own will, whirling on Saturn Girl, "You! You did it again! An' I went and knocked out my friend -- all 'cause a you!" He charged her and Live Wire with a bellow. He was, however, so blind with range and limited in intellect that his anger made him miss.



- Dr Octopus attacks Brainiac > AV8 vs DV15 > roll: 5+2=7 HIT. Brainiac takes 2 damage (and loses Outwit).
- Rhino Charges to T17 and attacks Live Wire and Saturn Girl using Quake > AV7 vs DV13 and DV14 > roll: 4+1=5 MISS.
- Vulture flies to S10.
- Dr Octopus Outwits Saturn Girl's Mind Control.

Yeah looks like my luck is coming around...don't know how long it'll last though...it still anybody's ball game.

I totally thought Rhino was gonna take out Saturn Girl...I forgot all about him last turn.
