my wife has a ds, and is playing final fantasy 3.
it'd be nice if she could get that onion knight class.

does she need to buy some sort of special add on for her gameboy or is it already set up to do this?
anyone feel like helping a ds illiterate out?

You mean an add-on for the DS to make it go online? Yes/no.

The DS has wi-fi capabilities built in. All you need is a wireless router (that's on their approved list at www.nintendowifi.com), or in lieu of that Nintendo sells a USB dongle that plugs into a desktop computer to allow online access. The router is better, though, since it's the same price and does more.

Also, you need broadband internet access. I've heard of the DS running some games on dial-up, but I don't know how well it works.

Seriously, this thread is on life support. If we can get some more people posting their FCs, I'll even try organizing a few DS nights like we've got with Gears on the 360.

I'd say it depends on the game that people have. Currently, I have the following:

Animal Crossing: Wild World
Mario Kart DS
Final Fantasy III
Metroid Prime Hunters
Pokemon Diamond

And in some point in the near future, I'll pick up Custom Robo Arena and a few others .... it'll depend if I want to continue to purchasing HeroClix or not.

The first post in this thread shows a few games/FCs for Realmsers. Metroid: Hunters is one of my personal favorites.

I keep a notepad document on my desktop with all of my FCs and info in it so that I can just copypasta it when the need arises. Which is really stupid, that I even have to do that. Just like the Xbox, right?

In the meantime: Gimme' the candy.
