Nice turn. You didn't leave me with many options. Hopefully I'll still be able to pull something off. Oh and it's time to change dice rollers for me too. Afte three Crit Misses at the end of last game, and then missing that 7 last turn, which would have been really handy, I've had it with PBE for the time being.
Minions Turn 3B:
Free) Rogue walks to K13.
Free) LE Doc Doom perplexes Speed Demon's attack up to 10 (9 after the injury modifier).
1) Speed Demon pushes to race to O11 and attack Spymaster. AV of 10 -1 vs DV of 15. Needs a 5. Rolls a 9 (6+3). Hit for 2 clicks. He finishes at J13 and takes two clicks for the push.
2) Calypso walks to I15.
Free) Speed Demon perplexes Taskmaster's Damage up to 3 (his stealth is off).
3) Taskmaster attacks Spymaster. AV of 11 vs DV of 15 +1 for hindering. Needs a 5. Rolls a 7 (3+4). Hit for 3 clicks and the KO. AST to Speedy.

Yeah, you're right. However you did need to roll it twice for the PC, so there was really only about a 30% chance of success.
I felt awful when I missed the attack on Spymaster. Wouldn't have had to push Speedy last turn if that had hit. But this one is fairly critical.
So can an elevated character see over barriers that are on the ground? I'll need to look that up.

Minions Turn 4B:
Free) Speed Demon perplexes LE Doombot's range up to 7.
1) Peotor TKs LE Doombot to S13.
Free) LE Doombot perplexes his own AV up to 11.
2) LE Doombot activates his internal overload protocol. NOVA BLAST PULSE WAVE TIME! AV of 11 vs DVs of 13 +1 (Masque), 15 +1 (Venom), 17 +1 (Spectrum) and 19 +1 (Laser). Needs a non-crit miss to get Masque, a 5 to get Venom, a 7 to get Spectrum and a 9 to get Laser. Rolls a 3! (1+2). Calypso will definitely PC that.....re-roll is.....a 10! (5+5). Phew! That's knockback as well! That's 3 damage to Masque and she is knocked to X6, 3 to Spectrum and he's knocked to X11 (he gains toughness, which should absorb the knockback damage for hitting the map edge I believe), Venom takes 3 plus an extra one as he loses Toughness and he's knocked to X13, and Laser takes 4 clicks because he is knocked into the Barrier. Nasty.
Also Doombot takes 2 for the Nova Blast, and I get ASTs for Speed Demon, Peotor and Calypso. Thank God for PC.

Not to take away anything from your moment of glory Wakanda, but don't forget to give your heroic self-destructing Doombot an extra click of damage thanks to the BFC
Exhaustion modifies all pushing damage by +1 and Nova Blast deals two pushing damage to the character when used, so LE Doctor Doom takes 3 damage total for his heroic efforts

Of course, not getting any KOs means that JPuffy is still winning by 5 points. I really wish I still have my HSS now...it would make hunting down all his wounded much easier.

Man, I did not realise that Nova Blast was pushing damage. That's kinda stinky. But at least he gets Outwit on that click.
In that case, the LE Doombot will Outwit....Venom's Leap/Climb.
Yep, it's pushing damage (that ignores all powers and team abilities), which is also why Endurance can be used to prevent it. Until Avengers and JLA it didn't really matter all that much what kind of damage it was, but now that we have Exhaustion and Endurance, it can suddenly make all the difference in the world
But hey, it could be worse, imagine if you had pushed Doctor Doombot to deliver the Nova Blast. That would have been 2 from the blast, 1 from the push and 2 more from Exhaustion for a total of 5 damage... KABOOM!

But thats why I put up that barrier, which would have blocked LoS for Calypso's PC. meaning I only needed that 7 once. Oh well it was a great plan foiled by rolling a 3
And I had no idea about the BFC affecting Nova blast, thats pretty cool.

Yeah, I was thinking he's not going to nova blast when he could possibly knock himself out with that. But the reward of hitting four figures for 3 damage far outweighs the 3 damage you'd take back for it. But yeah, at least he didn't push for it.
