Looks like I'll be missing my hometown con for the first time in a long time. Coaching my son's baseball team, and we start the playoffs that weekend. Saturday would be my only chance to go, but then I'd have to cancel practice (I'm sure the kids would hate that ).

So $50 entry (me and son) + $10 parking + at least $44 for two BR and I'm looking at $100+ just to play in two BR's. Can't say I feel bad about not going this year. Is that confirmed that WK is charging $11+ per booster for the BR's? Ouch.

My wife and I will be there from Thu to Sun! I will probably not play much as I will be there for the WHOLE con, not just the clix!

I may be there observing a few things to report on for Critical Hit, but this in my vacation 1st and foremost. I get to hang with my con-friends I see rarely, talk with some creators/industry folks I know and meet some more. Gonna have fun!

And I suggest that everyone who is either playing in a BR or would like to play but won't due to the cost let the fine folks at the WK table know what you think about the pricing.

I'm going! I was there once three years ago when I was on vacation. Last October I moved to Illinois from Florida... of course I'm not gonna miss it!!! But I will not be participating in any Clix events. Time nor funds will really allow much of it. I will spectate, though... and I vow to be the best dang spectator ever. EVER I SAY!

Make sure to bring some clix. You might be able to find folks playing friendly games either during or after the con.

I won't be making it up there this year. I'll send a contingent from the HGC to represent though.

Be sure if you guys run the WWC Grande Battle Invitational that someone contacts Wade and NBPERP. They need to allocate room and put things on the schedule for the Wizard people. A big thing with this is SPACE. It seems that the Booth SHOULD be in the room at WWC as things are looking and both Wade and Nbperp will NEED to know if they need to make room for Sunday. If someone needs to contact either for this event let me know, I love this event and have been pushing for someone to run it at WWC.

For Battle Royales? That's weird... WWLA had them as $8 for either.

Now, the price at the booth WAS $11/12. Which stunk.

I'll get hold of Wade if we run it. Space probably won't be an issue. The tourney area at WWC is HUGE compared to the room that Philly usually has.

Since WK doesn't have a booth presense now (at least, not one that's visible or out in the open) it looks like they're trying to recoup their lost sales revenue on the BR players.
