I can't wait to see Bruce come back and help put things right and get back to some butt kickery.

He is going to come back and kick Nekrons butt and take care of all the Black Rings and get rid of all of them.

He will bring back the New Gods.

He will straighten out all of DC's continuity issues.

And when he is done DC will be all ok continuity will be back to normal and will make sence. The he will jump over to Marvel and get rid of the Clone Saga, Punisher Demon Hunter and Punisher Frankenstein, Mephisto, Rob Liefield.

Then all will be well in the Universe.

I was excited until I saw that Morrison was writing it. It is nice to see that people are finally starting to realize that Morrison's work is garbage which is what I have been saying since before R.I.P. I was getting a little tired being attacked because nobody could see past the hype that was created around him. He needs to go as far away from DC as possible and he can take Dan DiDio with him.

As for tim, I am still a little torn by the way he is portrayed. Morrison wanted Damian as Robin (even though he was off limits to everyone) so bad that Tim was forced out of the Robin role. The last story arc in the Robin series drastically changed Tim into a miniature Bruce. I kind of liked the fact that Tim wasn't a Bruce clone. However, at the same time I do understand a need to character development. Just not within a few issues where the character's entire being is drastically changed. At the same time I do like Tim's badass attitude. I think his "By any means necessary" approach may cause a problem between him and Bruce when he returns. I agree 100% that it should be Tim who finds Bruce and if it isn't, then it is going to piss a lot of people off. Tim is the best suited to become the next Batman even more than Dick now. I hope he does go back to being Bruce's partner either as Robin or Red Robin.

What I'm hoping happens is that Tim is directly responsible for bringing Bruce back, but he's toed the line, and pushed the envelope so much, that he doesn't know how Bruce will respond. I don't know either. I don't know which ending I would like better. Bruce telling Tim that he is proud of him, or saying that Tim went too far and he should have left Bruce for dead. I don't quite think that Tim is a mini Bruce. Right now, Tim's drive is the need to stability and love for Bruce. If Bruce comes back, will he continue the badass attitude? His two best friends have both returned from the dead, as has his girlfriend. His parents would both still be gone, but he would have friends to help him through. The only way that I see Tim keeping his anger after Bruce returns is if Bruce disowns him for going too far.

The question ends up being, do we want status quo and a happy ending, or do we want an interesting new direction? With Morrison at the wheel, we are likely to get neither.

I should add, I HATE Damien. He's almost unlikable. Make him the new Jason Todd. (Kill him, or make him cross the line and get him the #### out of the Robin suit.)

I like Grayson as Batman, I'm gonna miss that, with Bruce starting to show his age it was a great character advancement. Wally West at least got to advance to Flash for a good 20 years or so, Grayson only gets a year? Sadly, we can't have character development in comics anymore...

So...Captain America gets shot by time bullets. Batman gets shot by time lasers. Both leave a shriveled rotty corpse in the present. It is too bad they didn't get shot by time/space bullets/lasers so they could finally finish the fight from JLA/Avengers.

it's been at least 6 months,(it'll be 10 or 11 by april) i think, and the mini is 6 issues long(6 more months), so it'll have been about a year and 3 or four months without bruce, and actually now that i think about it, more than that because we should start count after final crisis.

I'm always fascinated at how polarizing Morrison's work is. I enjoyed RIP and am REALLY liking B&R. I'm a little sad to see it pulled to an end so soon (although nothing has said that outright, it' s possible Bruce returns and doesn't assume the mantle for a while). Looking forward to seeing what the overall plan is.
