I wish they'd just already ditch the stupid Dark Reign/Osborn and "who is the Red Hulk??!" carp that we all know is not going to be official Marvel "cannon"...
Peter David will write Hulk again and it'll turn out to be all a dream
Huh. I thought it was Bendis, but here is the blurb for Super Heroes #1 from marvel, due out in April:

INKS: Array
THE STORY:
Captain America, Iron Man, the Black Widow, Thor, the Vision, Nova, and the Invisible Woman…a powerful collective of the greatest heroes the world has ever known. If it's Marvel Adventures/All Ages it's for kids, not in continuity.
I wouldn't mind Nova as an in-canon Avenger,though.

I could go for that, but only if it were in something like Dan Slott's Mighty Avengers. Unfortunately, there is currently no reason to think something like that will even exist after Siege.
...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.
I always figured that characters like Hank Pym and Nova would help train the new wave of kids. That whole Avengers Academy thing.
I like Nova waaay more in space, but if his brother becomes really good out there....I can see him assuming leadership while Novas away (thought that trainer guy may be better here).

What about a 'Cosmic Avengers'?
Quasar, Nova, Darkhawk, Blackbolt, Wraith, and some others
I mean shoot, if DC can have Justice League Europe, International, America, etc why not?
"Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad,
He's so bad, he mak'a me mad
Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad
He's a real cad, Un-fun Dad"
So Civil War kicked off with the New Warriors blowing up a school bus.
World War Hulk kicked off with a bomb blowing up the planet where the Hulk reigned as the Green King.
Now Siege kicks off with Volstagg blowing up a stadium during a sporting event.
Is that about right?
Anyone see any trends in creativity?

In comics it was done intentionally as a set-up by Osborn to invade Asguard. Yes, it's similar to Stamford, but they even admit it's patterned after the accident in the comics. Not defending it, just pointing out that in comic logic, it was done because the last one worked so well at getting people to back the SHRA, Osborn felt doing it again would have the same effect.
BTW, I gotta say I loved Siege 2. Really caught me off guard since I wasn't expecting to like it that much. Last page though, I laughed out loud at it.
Awesome, you know the other month when people were saying 'hey, notice how these guys are all stone powered', well Nova makes the same comment this issue. Plus we get to see more Nova awesomeness as he beats Moonstone with a single move. Meanwhile, Blackbolt is dead, again, and Darkhawk fights the guy who just woke up on Shard.
The elder Sphinx wins as his heros defeat their opposite numbers in 3 of 5 matches. In the end it looks fubar though as elder Sphinx can now see Darkhawk, and since he can see him he can control him through DH's stone. It looks like we're getting glimpses into the fact that all these stones are related somehow and tie into something very big.

I enjoyed Nova, too! I got the feeling that Black Bolt understood he wasn't supposed to be alive and just let Basalisk turn him to stone. I really liked the Mr. Fantastic-Ulysses Bloodstone battle.
Sphinx with 2 Ka stones?!? How exactly do they wrap this up in one issue?
My only picks for this week were Siege and Siege Embedded. While the main title was stunning and fun, Siege Embedded entertained me far less than I had hoped based on how well I enjoyed the first issue.
So... Who besides me is more than ready for Sentry to die? Show of hands?
