Unless you didn't notice, Secret Invasion Nick is front-loaded with Outwit. Your Sinister Fury wouldn't even get a chance to use it.
And SI Fury is sitting in Stealth.
How exactly is SI Fury seeing Sin Fury, isn't he also in stealth. With a better range. And with 37 points of Friends.
I've stated this elsewhere, but let me say it again for your benefit.
"MOST FIGURES AREN'T COMPETITIVE"
This has very little to do with poor dial design, and a lot to do with the simple fact that all figures fall on a bell curve of awesomeness. No matter how tight you make that curve (how much you can get all figures to play at basically the same level) there will always be outliers - especially bad figures and especially good figures. Only the especially good figures will see top tier play. This has nothing to do with Feats, Special Powers, BFC's, uber dopers (i.e. made up new game element X), or anything really. It's simply how all distributions work.
Iron River Read my wife's comic or I will say mean things about your dog.

Sorry, the General ain't got nuthin' on the Colonel.
But some of us didn't pull a SI Fury.
And the Sinister version is Samuel L. Mutha-****in' JACKSON, man!
AND (thanks to Classics) I have TWO, from different sets: "The LMD -- for the times when you absolutely have to kill every last mutha****er in the room"
You have used a censored word. Please remove this word. <-- Please kiss that word.
There a few exceptions. I noticed you didn't say the Xplosion Iron Man or the Iron Monger "would disagree with me."
Or how about that über-powerhouse of a fig the Crimson Dynamo?
And that Nick Fury can't touch the new Nick Fury... but he's still a decent figure.

(Defense) L.M.D.: Nick Fury can use Mastermind. When Nick Fury is dealt damage, you can reduce the damage by 2. If you do, after the attack resolves immediately put Nick Fury in an unoccupied square in the corner of the map (or as close to the corner as possible) that does not share an edge with the starting area used by Nick Fury.
(Damage) Spymaster: Nick Fury can use Leadership, Outwit, and Perplex.
Can't compete? I still think the SN Unique is better.
Forum Team Building Contest #2 and #3 Winner, & runner up for #1 and #4.
Yes because I am sure the genius who gets on a heroclix message board and creates a "noob of the year award" would know how to run a million dollar business so much better than the actual people running it.
I love when people write replies as though they're arguing with something -- which just happens to be something that wasn't actually said in the first place.
I think I'm going to start doing that -- just pick a random thread and post stuff like "And I'm still pissed off at Reb Brown's portrayal of Captain America, damnit!"
You mean to say that this was a thread actually about the battle packs?
I could have sworn it was complaining about the new retirement scheme.
Oh yes you are. You may call it something else, but it's whining.
LOL! You, my friend, are funny. Save your spin for politics.

LOL! This is great! Gotta rep you on that one!

I so agree with you!
Like I said last night, and so many times before... don't have your own opinion, or it's called 'whining' in the eyes of your opponents.
You ever notice how the strongest words are used in the weakest of arguments?

Very good point! Touche!
As for SN Nick having Stealth, yep, he has it too. He's definitely the most playable piece, for the points from the Armor Wars battle packs.

Thanks for the compliment. Glad you think I'm a genius.. But that's "Inventive Genius" to you "bub" Snickt!

Now I ask you, how are Feats Being taken away? VGA's post makes no sense unless he's talking about retirement, or more specifically the "Ages" system.

I don't know what else to cal it when you're complaining about something that hasn't even happened. Modern Age rules apply only to a small subset of tournaments, where the battle pack figures were *never* competitive.
Sounds like whining to me, no matter how you try to spin it yourself.
The guy who's new enough to the game to not have these figs is going to play at home or at local tournies where he can feat them all he wants.
