He could be working off the concept of Batman from different countries.
If that means more Knight & Squire, then I'm for it.
Besides, Bruce needs a day off every once in a while.
Batman having a son sounded terrible,....until I read it.
Bruce Wayne "dying" and being replaced sounded terrrible,....until I read it.
Damian taking over the role of Robin sounded terrible,...until I read it.
Grant Morrison has made Batman a must-read over the last four years. I will certainly give anything he writes the benefit of the doubt and try it out, no matter how goofy or terrible it may sound. He knows how to sell the craziest ideas.
I disagree.
Batman having a son sounded great,...but that wasn't a Morrison idea.
Bruce Wayne "dying" and being replaced sounded terrible,...and it was.
Damian taking over the role of Robin sounded terrible,...and it is.
Grant Morrison is the biggest hack at DC and gives Jeph Loeb a run for his money as King Hack of the Comic Industry. He pays little to no attention to continuity even within his own stories. The only good Grant Morrison Batman story is Arkham Asylumn and that was over 20 years ago.
To each his own, I guess.
I am not removing this until we get the rest of the Marauders, Cameron Hodge and Genoshan Magistrates. Thank you Wizkids. Uncanny X-Men was perfect.

My favorite Bats of all time was during Morrison's JLA Run....although he was part of an ensemble.
For the record, my issue with this isn't 2 Batmen, it's 0 Nightwings
Next DC Set Wants: Rick Flagg, Asmodel, Ragdoll, Jeanette, Faith, Salaak, Larfleez, Saint Walker, Warth, Sayd, Scar, Atrocitus, Dex-Star, Star Saphire (Carol Farris), Indigo-One, Congorilla, and remakes of Deadshot, and Mongul as leader of the Sinestro Corps
I kind of thought that's where they were going with the title Batman, Inc. With the growing size of the Batman family, I am eager to see a showdown with a group like the League of Assassins.
By the way, "Batman, Inc." is definitely a better title than "Batman and Batman".
I did NOT enjoy Damain Wayne's story arcs, as Batman's Son, as Robin, as an alternate future Batman, He just doesn't work (for me at least).
I feel he was largely unnecessary, and has served no grand purpose, nor has his change to the status quo felt "Iconic". He's kinda like Goblin/Stacy kids to me (with a bit less retcon... but just a bit), only he didn't just go away.
R.I.P. was ####ing crazy, and I hated it... Until the ####ing pay off, then I was in love.
Return of Bruce Wayne is just balls crazy... in a good way...
Dick taking on the mantel is... interesting, we've seen it before, but hey, why not try again? I still don't think Dick would/should be so gungho about quitting Nightwing to become the Bat, but hey, I aint the guy writing these books.
But Batmen is a huge no, Morrison is hit or miss with me, but this is something that just can't be. There is ONE Batman, all those who come after are just trying to fill in (Even Terry), and to have multiple ACTIVE batmen is just wrong, Bruce never wore Stark-Armor, drove a flying car, used a raygun, or gave himself super powers, for his day to day crime fighting (day to day, not the rare occasion where he digs into his bag of sci-fi deus ex), he sure as hell aint gonna think that he's just not enough "Batman" to do it alone (hell every couple of months he'd throw his sidekicks away so he can 'go back to basics'). We'd need a radically different, and unsure Bruce to allow for multiple bats, and a wimpy Bruce is one comic I don't want to see written...
...more Russian batman though, I would like to see some of 'dat.
This is the camp I'm in. It might be good.....it might be bad. Let's wait & see.
Also, just pointing out there are currently 3 Flashes in the DCU. Two of which have nearly identical costumes.
Two Captain America's would not work because in the eyes of the fictional public he's an icon....a symbol. Batman is a creature of the night...an urban legend. It could work. Not saying it will...just that it could.
On the topic of Damien, my problem with him is that he barely has any redeeming qualities. They try to make him out like a badass, but he just comes off like a punk.
You would think that Dick would know better than to let this kid just basically be a savage. He has no friends, or life outside of being Robin. I'd like to see Chris Kent rescued from the Phantom Zone, and have Dick set up Chris and Damien on a play date or something.
It would go something like this. Dick realizes that Damien needs a friend (after all, the Titans were as a much a support group as a crime fighting team). When Chris is rescued from the Phantom Zone, Dick and Clark set up a meet, as Chris is also depressed, recovering from trauma of the war of the Supermen. Damien tries to attack Chris, because that's just what the punk would try. Even though he uses Kryptonite, he fails to defeat him. Just as Chris starts to get angry, some emergency comes up that forces them to put aside their differences and work together, unintentionally forming a friendship. Iris West (Impulse) sees them on live tv, and races out to meet them and to help. That would be the first issue or two of my new version of Young Justice. Future issues would include Iris using the Speed Force to counter-act Chris's accelerated aging, and the original Young Justice members acting as mentors.

I think this is something like what Morrison is planning. I just watched a video interview with him last night and I have a much clearer idea what this title is going to be.
The Club of Heroes, aka the Batmen of Many Nations, essentially started out as guys inspired by Batman fighting crime all over the world. Batman, Inc. will simply be carrying on that tradition, but now with Bruce Wayne checking in on them, making the connection more concrete. Morrison said that he envisioned this like the classic Brave & the Bold, but he wanted to do it with a new twist. The new twist will be the organization of these inspired crimefighters by Bruce Wayne.
In regards to multiple Batmen, Morrison didn't say much, but I suspect that Dick & Damien will continue to guard Gotham City as Batman & Robin, while Bruce Wayne, also as Batman, goes around the world teaming up with various heroes inspired by him.
Morrison confirmed that in one issue (or storyline or arc), Batman will be in Argentina teaming up with El Gaucho. It turns out they have a connection other than their shared vocation.
Here's the link, so you can sift through the differences between what Morrison said and my personal speculation:
