I think you are both missing the point. He simply asked the guy why his shipping was $7.00 for one figure and received the response he did. Regardless of what he was willing to spend the guy was a DB in his response which casued him not to bid at all. Most people agree that $7.00 is a bit much for shipping a single figure (Although Wizkids would obviously disagree) and he wanted to know why.

I think this whole thread has run it's course..
Unfortunately OP, the world of Ebay often shows us over inflated shipping costs in order for the seller to get their desired price.
Why? Because Ebay doesn't take money from the shipping, where as they do take it from the "winning bid."

There's plenty of things out there that cost $60 that people sell for a penny with $59.99 shipping.. Report their post if it's an issue.. posting here on hcr isn't going to help your cause.

Also..
First class shipping may cost $3.. Priority with DC (the preferred way to ship) is $5.75 minimum.. throw in the cost of a box (another buck).
Now you're at $6.75.. so round up to $7 for shipping doesn't seem unreasonable anymore now does it..
