Oof. This is gonna be tough. Hmm... I debated a couple ways of doing this, but I think this might be my only choice at the moment to attempt to get some offense going... I hope I'm not just foolishly running to my death!

I forgot to add another DFD for Detective Chimp on my last turn. I think he deserves it, cause his use of Outwit stopped extra damage on Shazam with Namor's HO. Agree?

For the DFD, I am not sure, myself. The whole stat of the DFD kind of confuses me. At first, I thought it meant that you prevented an attack on one of your pieces. But there has been some discussion lately on the main thread about it, as well. To be honest, it confuses me so much that I don't usually pay attention to DFDs, so I'm sure I've gotten some that I probably haven't counted. So you might be better serviced asking the main thread for clarification on that.

Yeah, DFDs are hard to track down. I try to go the easy way: if it avoids something against my figures (either an attack or any kind of damage, even if it only reduces damage dealt), I'll add one.
Obviously, if that's not how it's ruled, I'll accept the mods' final word.
Hmmm... I feel I have to push the Surfer this turn, as I'm pretty sure he will die next turn... but Regeneration seems like an unwise choice as it just delays things a turn... so I'm going to go for the attack!
