Might be the Thor from the Thoki fig? If so, I hope not. Not the best Thor.

My only complaint if it is HoT common Thor would be why not redial Smokey feet Cap. We already have 3 dials on that Thor. I'd love my 120 point definitive Captain America. Also didn't the Cap movie end up beating the Thor move.

Maybe its the first PRE-used figure.

Or there could be an Avengers movie gravity feed planned ala Green Lantern and this Thor sculpt will be reused from that.

Uggh except your comparing 10 star figures to just "Average" Figures. Not a very good comparison.

The FF Thor is "Allright" in my opinion! It brings a cheaper avengers brick to the table.

However as much as I looove the idea of a newly designed Thor I really hope this one takes the cake!! I was expecting silver surfer for the 2012 FCBD figure but I guess he's going to he saved for Galactic guardians.

The reason I hate those types of arguments: "Sure, SI Namor is better for the points. But...I like Thor. Namor's not Thor."

Characters matter, people! At least to some!

He's not so bad. I think I've played him twice and he just tore up opponents. His range provides a nice option that Namor and Herc don't have.

I dunno what would lead anyone to think, or get their hopes up, that any FCBD figure would be some sort of "definitive version" of the character. If we are to get a "definitive Thor" - which I think the HoT version is pretty good - it will be in the new Avengers set - not a promotional figure that is used to get new people introduced to the game, with dumbed down power wording.

We all tend to forget that FCBD figures are promo items to get new people into the game - so even though we still love FCBD figures and it's awesome we get the, we shouldn't expect them to somehow define a figure.

I emailed Typhon the photo, so hopefully it will be up soon. I'm pretty sure it is a brand new sculpt. It's partially in silhoutte so you see the outline and some features

the FCBD Thor will probably use the same sculpt as a new Thor from the Avengers set i'm guessing.

This looks great to me.

The silhouette looks like a new sculpt to me, and assuming they are re-using a sculpt, would that not mean this is probably a sculpt from the upcoming Mighty Avengers Set?
