Cap on Danger, AV10 +1 for First Into the Fray, on DV17. Gets 8. She uses her PC, makes it 5.
Two-Gun takes Cap's 2 Contingency tokens to counter his Move and Attack penalty. Moves to S14, attacks Gambit, AV10 on DV17. Gets 8. 2 to him. Two-Gun finishes his move in T15
Iron Man Self Perplexes his AV to 11, RS to O13, and Pulse Waves. Angel, Gambit and Mystique are all targets. DV16 for Angel and Mystique, 17 for Gambit, and Gambit and Angel both get hindering bonuses. Gets 7. Hm. Could duel but I like the idea of pulling off this Pulse Wave, so I'll pass. 1 each to all three of them. Falcon's protected by the wall.
In the duel, Hawkeye's got to clear.

"Last I checked the X-Men are all about mutants, not robots," Captain America said, throwing his shield.
"I am the embodiment of the danger room," Danger informed him, creating a force field to deflect the shield away. "For years I have trained them to the peak of their powers. You could say that I am their teacher and they my students as much as Xavier's."
"That's right touching," the Two-Gun Kid said, rounding the corner and getting a surprise shot at Gambit before ducking for cover again.
"But we will stop you," Iron Man added. "Just watch." He flew to the middle of the room and set off an EMP burst that hit Gambit, Angel and Mystique with an almost physical force. "Too bad I couldn't have gotten Danger in range for that too."
In the duel Cannonball charges to row 14 attacking Hawk. Needs 5, gets 10. Sadly it's not two 5s which would knock Clint into the wall and ko him. Otherwise his lmd saves him from being koed. 2 to him.
Forge again brilliant tactician's his fellow X-Men's dvs by 1
I just got a look at where Forge is. Brilliant Tactician doesn't work this way. It's

So Forge has to be able to see the target, just like regular Perplex. Which he can't do from where he is. Given that you placed him thinking otherwise, did you want to rethink where you put him and re-place him?
"Let's see what Gambit can do 'bout dat man in de tin can," Gambit said, readying a charged card to throw at Iron Man. "Ow. Hey, ow! What is dat?" Gambit asked as he felt burning pain in his legs.
"Ants," Ant-Man said. "The red kind with the really nasty bite."
"And for the record, I have a nasty bite too," the Wasp said, hitting Gambit with her sting.
Poor Gambit, he's pretty hit and miss as far as figures go. He'll rs to P17 and attack Two-Gun & Iron Man. Needs 9, rolls 10. Nice, with his armor piercing that's 1 to both which is a ko to the bird.
Angel to break? 4. Needed that. He drags Falcon to L7, 8. Angel's in L6.
Danger on Falc. Needs 6, rolls 5. Rerolls for hersef: 10.
Forge rs to G7, after Sunfire cont-plans his av to 10, attacking Falc. Needs 8, rolls 11. Falcon's out.
I guess Mystique will go to L8 to block Falcon's d.r.
"Mama Gambit's boy knows when he's overstayed his welcome," Gambit says as he slips away from Ant-Man and Wasp and tosses charged up cards at Iron Man and Redwing on the way.
"Redwing!" Falcon yells.
"What's the matter? Your bird friend isn't here to protect you?" Angel says snagging him and bringing him forth. Between Danger, Forge and Mystique's efforts, he doesn't stand a chance.
"X-Men: one," says Forge, "Avengers: 0".
"Enjoy it. Don't expect that number to last for long, X-Men," Captain America says.
Cap ups his AV to 11 +1, attacks Danger. DV17. Gets 9. Danger uses her PC, 9 again. 1 to her after Invulnerable.
Swordsman in next, I think. With Damage Shield. Polaris TKs him to M7. Can he attack Mystique? SC is 6. Attacks Angel then. AV9 on DV16. Gets 10. Blades is 3.
Iron Man RS to L15, Pulse WAves. Rolls a 9. 1 to Gambit and Sunfire.

I have a choice for Hawkeye. He's a Sharpshooter, so I can still use his RCE, but then I have to hit a 9 with Sam's ESD. Or I can do close combat and only need a 7 to hit, but then I'll only do 1. Only doing 1 to Cannonball's not a bad deal. Gets his Damage from 3 to 2 and his AV from 10 to 9. I'll go for a close combat attack. Gets 6. Doesn't matter what I tried.
It's odd to me that Angel would have earthbound on his last click. The boy has wings...it's his one power! Dunno if it's an error or not but I'll go with what the units says....he pushes against Swordsman. Needs 10, rolls 9. Decent try, I won't waste Danger's pc. Angel's out.
Mystique lowers Iron Man's dv to 16. Sunfire on Iron Man. He'll cont-plan his av to 10. Needs 6, rolls 6. And the Armored Avenger takes 1.
Forge continues to outwit Cap's contingency plan.
Replacing Angel is Magma. Construct on her. Blink tks her to J19.
