BFC: High Gravity
Light objects are considered to be heavy objects, and heavy objects are considered to be immobile objects. If a character carries another character during an action, deal the character 1 damage after the action resolves.
1) "So be it! Your deaths shall be particularly painful for this!" Holocaust promises, seething with rage and radioactive flame as he strides to C7-8/D7-8 in search for his fleeing prey
2) Longshot leaps to K5
Longshot will PC any successful attack against Holocaust he might see
Everyone clears.

Actually, would you mind re-rolling that second break roll terribly? Since no attack of any kind would be possible after that Longshot would want to PC that

At GENCON, a player using Sentry/Void in a side event that I was using a Skrull theme team (fun team) in said to me after my utter destruction.
"I had the fun beat out of me at Heroclix. Now the only fun is winning."
Let it never be said that I am that way, so while I planned my strategy based on how you were wording your PC, AND I am wholly in my rights to not do so, and that the next d6 roll I got (Thor ATA roll) was a 4, let it never be said that I value winning above all else!
Re-rolled breakaway roll is.................1.
I am pretty sure this will forever be my curse. Niceness to my own detriment.
Rest of the turn will remain unchanged besides Thundra's positioning being where she was.

My apologies. I will make sure to word my PC instructions for Longshot more comprehensibly in the future. Thank you for your understanding
And I honestly did *not* expect that to actually happen, but I guess Lady Luck just has a really spiteful sense of humour!

free) "Burn and suffer!" Holocaust laughs as his seething flames scour Thundra. Thanks to Armor Piercing she takes a click from his Poison
1) "And now... you DIE flatscan!" Holocaust raises his massive foot and brings it crushing down on Thundra! Holocaust punches the Femizon. 10 atk. vs 16 def. Needs a 6. Roll is: (4,2) for a 6 and just barely a hit! Thundra takes 2. 1 SA and 1 from the push for Holocaust
2) "Sorry about this, but trust me, you'd like it a lot less if he did it!" Longshot offers as an excuse as he throws a knife at Thundra's back. Longshot shoots Thundra. 10 atk. vs 15 def. Needs a 5. Roll is: (1,5) for a 6 and another hit! Thundra takes 2 and is KO'ed! 1 SA, 1 KO and 1 from the push for Longshot.
free) Holocaust rolls to steal life as Thundra falls unconscious at his feet. Roll is: 4 and he gets it!
Longshot will PC any attack he might see

I no longer have the offense to win. The only thing that can come of an extension of this game is a chance at injury to Nemesis.
So I conceed and wish you good luck in the future rounds!
I can understand, and accept that decision. Would you like to play out the rest of the match non-contest, just too see how low you might be able to bring the beast?

I am not a sadist and watching any damage done get healed back up is not my idea of fun.
What's really sad is that had you actually have to hunt me down, I was only 3 good attack rolls away from putting him on his last click, and on KO with one Crit hit.
Of course that would have required:
Xavin hitting a 10 to hit. Blades for 5 or 6. 4 damage to Nemesis. (9/15 after push to rebase)
Perplex defense down to 18 on 6 blades, or perp damage on 5 blades. Thundra needs an 8 or 9 to do 2 more after Inv. (7/15)
Thor gets TK'd over to Charge and needs only a 7 to hit for 6. (1/15)
Sure it seems implausible, and sure the odds were against it, but needing a 10 is only a 1/6 proposition. Then needing the 5/6 makes it 1/18.
After that the odds actually start to favor the hits.
So a 20/1 longshot or so to take down the Nemesis. All ruined by failed Plasticity which is supposed to succeed 5 out of 6 times! How's that for odds!

Had I pushed to follow, which I was considering but hadn't fully decided on yet, I would also have pushed Longshot, jumping him to L5. That would have made it somewhat more difficult

That would have actually been better for me!
If you had done that, I was going to push both to break away again, TK Thor over, Perp his damage 1 and then KO Longshot, which would have put me in a lead.
Then the goal would have been running away for 8 or so turns trying to make you burn through as many push clicks as possible. It would have been a fun race! You would have caught one eventually, but it would have been quite an event watching this colossal chase down a 1-7 team trying to get a KO!
And I can fully understand your desire to not continue a hopeless match. No sense playing if it isn't fun, like you said yourself
Best of luck in the next season, and I sincerely hope Holocaust isn't as fun-sucking a monster as Sentry/Void is to you?
As for fun-sucking. In real life he's not, but in a limited environment like this, he's basically unkillable without certain powers/figures so I can't say I really enjoyed either of the two games against him because I had neither of those. (Or an insane amount of luck)
that being said, this team was an unmitigated disaster all season so it hasn't really been much fun period. I don't mind the losing, but being almost completely unable to compete has made for a LOOOOOONNNNG year.

I wasn't overly concerned about Longshot being KO'ed since running down Xavin afterwards shouldn't be too problematic for Holocaust. With Xavin and Thundra pushing to run away Holocaust could simply use Colossal Stamina to push again and chase one of them down, and then push one more time while Xavin cleared to flatten him. And if he missed on that attempt that push would have put him on his first super-running shot + Pulse Wave click which probably wouldn't have made it harder for him to catch someone
But anyways, I hope you'll be less cursed by a spiteful Lady Luck next season!
