I'm slightly bummed that Sabertooth and Wild Child get the horsemen of apocalapyse keyword but shiro doesn't this is the version of him that was famine for a time until he went nuclear trying to hold in apocalypes son
Pulled him, by accident. And by that I mean that I overlooked him originally when ripping the boosters open and disregarded him as "just one of the Sunfires" because of these Chases' lack of colored bases (I really miss you colored Chase bases... where have you gone?). Only when going back through the pile of figures I noticed which one he was. It's a joyous moment when you discover that you did manage to score a Chase in your brick after all after already going through it and resigning yourself to your "best pull" being a Common Prime (which you already have too).
But I'm not here about that. He might seem a bit squeashy for the entire rather short dial, BUT he starts with 20 Def from range (21 if you navigate hindering properly), can RS for 4 Damage and give the hit enemies the "Burn!" marker, which actually works better than the "Snikt!" one, since Snikt requires the injured character to be given an action token (usually it'll be from a non-free action), while with the "Burn!" marker, they just get 1 Penetrating damage up front as their turn starts. No what, no if, no choice, they just burn. And then you get Pulse Wave. Lots and lots of Pulse Wave.
And here we come to his regenerating capabilities. When on click 4 all you need is to pull of a Pulse Wave and hit 3 characters in order to heal 3 back to top. And what's interesting, it does not specify that all hit must be opposing characters, so if you have a friendly or two that you're willing to sacrifice a click of to give him more time on the map, go ahead. More importantly, his PW Special doesn't need to damage, just hit, so hitting potential characters with those annoying Defense powers that "can't be ignored" will work just as well. Also for some reason him and Colossus are the only AoA Chases (in fact the only figures with the AoA keyword) that have the X-Men TA, so keep that in mind, since click swapping is always there to keep either one or both going for longer.
Got one of him with no card and Token in a trade ( guy pulled 2 in one pack during a sealed, got him for a steal) guess it's time for me to learn french...
He's great for the points, and is the perfect candidate for Proteus : it gives him a better first click than the Prime (12/12/19/5 for 115 !!), and helps hitting on those Regenerating PW clicks, which is handy when Proteus gets hungry. Just the perfect host...

We want Nefaria's Ani-Men !!
He doesn't have the keyword as he was never a horseman of apocalypse. his whole deal is that apocalypse killed everyone in japan except him and that's why he's so angry and insane.
