Steppenwolf sits upon his throne, the ruins of Darkseid's clearly displayed before him. A message is sent. "Darkseid is dead. I, Steppenwolf, am now the ruler of Apokolips. Let us consider this... a fresh start. All are welcome to try for peace, except the vile Kree. Some may be required of you, but you will find my demands more than fair." He ends the message, then looks to Omega Red. "Give the warbound what they ask. Tell them that they shall be amply rewarded if they turn their warmongering on the Kree."
The response comes only after Caeira and her child have been secured away from Apokolips.
It is a coffin-sized crate. In it, they will find Omega Red, unconscious but alive, with his arms broken, and his carbonadium coils wrapped impossibly tight around his body, as well as around his own neck like a noose.
Taped over his mouth is a small holomatter device. When activated, an image of a large, orange-tinted creature with two faces upon its single skull appears.
"The Green Scar says you can keep your rewards."
"And he warns you to leave Sakaar alone or be smashed."
Glad to hear it! If your interested in joining the HRS, we'd love as much or as little as you want to invest! Skrull Brother is a relative newcommer, but he already breathed life into the character of the Hulk, and then took over a planet!
i do but as i have only one person i play clix with & i dont have much to contribute. If i could find someone to play these with I know who my avatar would be: Pandora (wkD-006 Pandora) though I don't know which group she would be with. I would rather use any Juggernaut (he is my favorite character) the only one i have is fi026 Kuurth. I have used pandora so much that i stopped because of the eye rolls i would get bringing her out.

Reason: i forgot something
Don't let that stop you. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time for game playing either - I've only been able to do one session since I started up here, but there's value in just contributing character work to the storyline, even if it doesn't always get enshrined in canon.
Just finished the scenario, ended very very quickly.
Lanterns
Kyle Rayner (wol107) 180 pts
Professor X (avx008) 150 pts
Weaponer of Qward (wol025) 135 pts
Sister Sercy (Wol033) 66 pts
Sinestro Corps Recruit (wol003) 50 pts
Parallax (wol041) 250 pts
Parallax comes and pulse waves the whole team, Kyle gets perpexed up by sister Sercy and himself, uses professor x's enhancement and sister sercys prob to hit. Parallax has to clear. Professor X and Weaponer of Qward both use psychic blast and hit. Parallax range combat expert for 7 damage on Kyle but super senses ignores it but Because of Proffessor X's "I love all of you" trait, parallax had to take a double power action. Kyle gets perplexed by recruit, and sister Sercy and himself and hire and kills Parallax... Super super quick, didn't even get to play any of the scenario So I'm going to start over and play one more game with Proteus as my Parallax and see if it's a little more fun!
And I don't have anyone to play with either so I play all the scenarios by myself! I always win but always lose as well! I still have a great time seeing these stories fold out

Wow suprised you guys hit him so much with the plus 2 to combat values!
We've got our teams picked out for this scenario and as I said earlier, I'm using Darkseid as a stand in (even going to use the "vision" of him as a part of the story), and with those plus-2's to his combat values... I have some... concerns this might be a bloodbath. I'm pretty psyched about our team though. I actually bought a Taskmaster for the first time specifically to play him as a Lantern, and I've set aside a particular... small... little sociopath I've been dying to include in a scenario since HRS went into space to finally make an appearance in this match.
Betty Ross, unimaginatively nicknamed Red She-Hulk by little Rick Jones, sits in the cockpit of Captain Comet's spacecraft, taking her shift at the helm. She's picked up a thing or two about piloting, living in the shadow of her Air Force General father, although having Cyborg as a navigator definitely helps. Although she's ostensibly here in deep space seeking her (ex?)-husband, she is consumed with thoughts of that particular father. Particularly, the fact that he's become a hulk himself, and he's apparently joined a frothing intergalactic rage cult - one this group of oddballs narrowly escaped.
"How does that make you feel?" asks Dr. Leonard Samson, reading the thoughts on her face. She's not particularly subtle when she's hulked out.
"Len, what did I tell you about psychobabble?"
"If our friend Mr. Cho was asking you how you felt, would you dismiss it the same way?"
"Doc, we're not a tag-team here," Cho snaps. "Let her feel whatever she feels. Maybe she doesn't want to talk about her daddy issues for once."
Betty simultaneously appreciates and sneers at that.
"Listen, Wolfgang," Rick asides to Amadeus. "Doc's got some experience with helping Hulks figure out their... Hulkery. It's a hell of a whammy on the feels."
"Oh yeah?" Cho responds. "How does that make YOU feel, Mr. A-Bomb? Which, by the way, you need to stop calling yourself, because that would be MY name when I get my turn as a Hulk."
"Yeah, right, as if there aren't enough of us."
"You didn't answer his question, Mr. Jones," Samson admonishes.
"What, how do I feel? I feel great! It's a trip to finally be able to throw down in a superhero fight, instead of running around hiding behind things until the punching stops."
"EXACTLY," Betty blurts. "It's an absolute blast!"
"So the ease with which you can commit violence is a positive to you."
A moment of silence. Then Rick and Betty in unison both say "Shut up, Leonard."
"If one thing is consistent among Hulks, it's that you all seem to hate introspection."
"We said shut up," Betty returns.
Samson presses once more. "And how does your wife Marlo feel about this, Rick?"
Another 'shut up' dies on Rick's lips. His wife is pretty supportive, but isn't thrilled with how often Rick jumps at the chance to mix it up in superhero shenanigans. And she was NOT happy about this space thing. After swallowing the bitter pill of that thought, Rick turns to Cho again. "See? It's worth talking about it. Just to make sure you don't get so caught up in it you don't see what you're doin' to the people you love."
Betty's jaw clenches. And she thinks about her father again.

In the back of the ship, Jennifer Walters has crossed her arms, and she's looming over the kitchen table, watching Captain Comet eat some rations. John Henry Irons is sitting across from him, with the same look of suspicion on his face. Comet is oblivious. Until Irons pipes up. "Spill it."
Comet looks up from his meal, wiping crud from his lips. "What?"
"You know more about what's going on with Bruce than you're telling us," Jen adds, with the accusatory tone perfected in courts of law.
Comet straightens up, leaning back in his seat with the shake of his head. "You think I'd try to lie while stuck in a ship with a lawyer and a psycho-analyst?"
"You're deflecting," Jen drills. "Out with it."
Comet doesn't like the tone. "This is my ship, you know. I can kick you off it at any time."
John leans in. "It's your ship in name only. We give the word, and Victor can get this ship to spit you out the porthole before you can say 'boo.'"
Now Comet REALLY doesn't like the tone. But Cyborg certainly does have this craft running better than it has in years. He also doesn't like that they're trying to pry a truth out of him that is going to piss off everyone on board, and when that includes three and a half Hulks (Doc Samson counts as .5), that's never a wise course of action. Still, withholding information doesn't look like it's going to do him any favors, either.
"All right," Comet finally says. Not a big fan of lying, anyway. "I haven't told you everything about how Bruce got out here in the first place."
Jen and John trade glances. "You told us Ross shot him into space," she says, "although you never told us HOW you knew that."
Comet sighs, jabbing a spork into his lunch. "Ross had help. A lot of help. It wasn't a supervillain plot or anything. It was a public safety issue."
Jen's eyes glow green as she leans across the table. "What did you do?"
"I didn't do anything! I was just asked to make sure Bruce arrived at his intended destination. A nice, peaceful, uninhabited world where he could be alone, just like the Hulk always said he wanted."
"Are you nuts?!" Jen barks. "You think his fractured childhood id should be in charge of decisions regarding his well-being?"
John retains focus. "Who INTENDED this?"
Comet braces himself. "Two of his best friends. Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark. They believed this was the best thing to do for him."
"ARE YOU KIDDING-?!" Jen's fists clench, as she tries to keep from punching something. "What a stunner! Another clusterf*** caused by self-important rich white guys playing judge and jury!"
Comet cocks an eyebrow. "Surely, Ms. Walters, you've seen the staggering, devastating damage reports from Hulk-events. Something had to be done."
"Like maybe TALK TO THE MAN. Get him some HELP - the help he's needed since he was ten years old!"
John tries to stay on point. "What happened?"
Comet decides better of engaging in a debate with Bruce's cousin. "I'm not sure. He never arrived where he was supposed to. If these intelligence reports from the Kree are to be believed, he's nowhere NEAR where he was supposed to be if he's really in the slave pits on Sakaar. Either something threw his ship off course - it's possible HE threw his ship off course himself if he pitched a strong enough Hulk-fit - or somebody redirected him intentionally. Could be Ross, could be Nick Fury, Abigail Brand..."
"Or maybe even the president?" John grumbles.
"But WHY? Isn't getting the Hulk off-planet good enough for these people?" Jen shouts, exasperated.
Comet takes another bite. "People like that think strategically. Any one of these empires could decide to try and conquer Earth at any time. Brand's job in particular would be to monitor this game of interplanetary thrones for potential threats. What better way to destabilize a regime than to throw a walking gamma bomb at it?"
"So that's why we're heading to Knowhere and risking going to the Kree for help," John concludes, rubbing his chin at the thought.
"Last word we have is that they had just taken control of Sakaar from Darkseid," Comet nods, "and we sure as hell don't want to get HIS attention. At least the Kree have a pretense toward being civilized. If they're having problems with him - which, let's be honest, everyone eventually does - then they may be inclined to help us."
Jennifer Walters falls silent, and stays that way. This simple rescue mission has just become a lot more dangerous. If they succeed and bring Bruce back, how long can they keep this secret from him? What kind of damage will the Hulk do if he knows two of his best friends betrayed him and sent him off to slave pits?
She has indeed read those damage reports from Hulk events, and she's got a sinking feeling that her reading material will grow exponentially if they do bring her cousin home...
