I have made an arbitrary "milestone" based on a nice round number. I hit 100 covers total in my roster.

Characters. Strange pegs toons down and freezes them bit by bit, Strange and Khan increase life, Khan or Thanos does team damage, Thanos kicks them when they's down. If it's Iron Man then he pummels with his read or pumps with his yellow. I think I have used fewer health packs than normal this boosted cycle.

I went ahead and bit on the Spider-Ham deal. He's not done yet, but he is at 2/5/5.
Now I'll brace myself for never ever seeing another Yellow cover.

My S-Ham is at 3/4/5. Taking that deal champs him. And yet ... it seems like a lot of gold to throw at it.

If I was where you are I probably wouldn't bite.
I'm hoping that when they rerun the Hydro/Molten Man boss event again it always will have the same bonus of a Spider-Ham. With that in mind it will just be a matter of time for you.

I am very close to getting all my 3*s to 13 covers. I am also in a weird spot with my 2* farm. After opening tokens I have a number of max champed 2*s but then I have about 2- 5 covers that would go toward a new crop or Wolverine. Maybe I am missing out on the complete strategy, but it seems like it is not worth it to sell off the max champ to get a new one with less than half the covers.

There are 2 ways I farm, depending on my mood. In either method, it does not make any sense to sell a Maxed 2* until after the crop has reached 13 covers.

Method 1 - Sometimes I need to cover slots. Now I've got room for 2 of each 2*, but beyond that can sometimes get tight. I keep a minimum of Storm/Magneto/Ares as max champs (they are my go-to DDQ team). Everyone else, they are maxed only until I get 13 covers for the crop. Then I see the Max and put the ISO into the crop. I don't mind the less-than-maxed 2* because it really only serves me to hit essentials. I don't use 2* for anything else.

Method 2 - When I have lots of cover slots (which I do now because of the sale earlier this year), I put ISO into crop as I get their covers. It's a few thousand ISO at most as they get to 13 covers. This lets me "bank" Max champs until I need an ISO boost. Or I just want to see my ISO total make a big jump. The point is I feed the crop ISO and let the champing happen at its own pace. Ripened crop can sit and will be worth the same later as they are today.

Either way, Max Champs don't get sold until after the crop has 13 covers (sometimes well after)

Thanks! Having those extra roster spots is so helpful. I had that shortly during the sale and it was magical how the farm worked. But then I started collecting 4*s.
