Why is there so much Mirror Wall hate? Its extra damage or protection for free given the situation. Its one of the most degenrative traps ever. Suprising and unexpected and can cost the opponent the game. If you want an "Aid the King" deck, then add 1 more PMK and add some low level Machines and Tribute Dolls.
I HATE BLOWBACK! So stupid. Barrel Wannabe. Bandit Keith showed that Barrel is so much better. He picked that one over Blowback, didnt he? *ignore my pointless rant*
No seriously ... King is pimp, but hard to work with since he is a double tribute. Better be packing some quick summon monsters to make this work. Same reason Machine Decks dropped Barrel a long time ago. Machine Decks have a way of blowing their own monsters up after an onslaught so .. hard to get your tribute food. But if you so determined to abuse him, Tribute Dolls is the way to go.
Nice deck man....nice. Well, it looks great to me, but I have one suggestion. Since you don't have Cannon Soldiers, what is the use of a Scapegoat (especially one)? I would drop it for a Torrential. That's all I have to say, this deck is very solid, 9.4/10.
Thanks guys. ur help is much a appreciated. I will consider adding a Secon PMK for this particular deck although 2 tribute doll may be the thing to go on.
I've never built a machine deck, but my personal choice would definitely be to run a Jinzo. I'm not suggesting it for you, but definitely side deck. It's one of the only things that stopped me in my last tournament. Painful and premature in my opponent's opening hand shut me down. :surprised I ran Last Turn so you can see the problem.
I'd run more Machines if this is a machine deck. 7 machines doesn't really make up a machine deck it's more of a semi theme IMO. I can see your originality coming through, but don't let it stand in the way of a winning deck. Sometimes the standard decks are that way for a reason and you have to really change things up to make a difference.
Nice machine deck! I like this best of all your decks I've seen... looks good! I'd consider Jinzo or Blowback... they're just nice. But other than that, great job here!
Thanks for all the support guys. I do hope to take this to the regionals
In the mean time
Frostbyte: A whole set of Machines gives my opponent an easier chance to destroy them. TIV, the type-specific killer. Red-Eyes B. Dragon has been placed on hold until the Others (Jap) are released to increase devastation power.
Lord Kamon: Ah... How good it is to see you. I've Decided that Blowback and Jinzo will remain in the Side Deck for an addtional surprise.
Legend Protector: Good point. Sometimes that may come into play. So overlooked that.
Superman57: I doubt it. 2200 plus 500 really isn't as great as 2700 atk plus 2000. But I'll see how it plays out.
IMO, Mirror Wall is not the best card for the deck. You're going to want DESTRUCTION. An open field w/ a machine deck means doom to an opponent. While Mirror Wall may do this to an extent, it won't do it very reliably. If you have an open field, then mirror wall does nothing but take the sting out. I think that Sakuretsu or Bottomless would be better suited to your needs.
I agree with whoever said to take out Blade Knight. He's a good card, but not made for this deck. A cannon soldier would be appropriate.
Another scapegoat wouldn't hurt you a bit, either.
A good deck, though, 8.5/10
Plz look at mine, the link is in my sig.
Umm, Mirror Wall may not destroy your monster, but it does cuts the attacking monster in half and also, it does lp damage if the attacking monster is lower than the defending monster.
Anyway, I need a Perfect Machine King, myself, I was so disappointed in my RDS Preview appearance in NY [Neutral Ground] that all I've got were rares, luckily, my friends traded me Big Core.
Deck looks great. It's not a FULL on Machine Deck, but still great none-the-less. I would out one D.D.Warrior Lady for a Fiber Jar. You can never have too much Fiber. (bad pun) 9.5/10.0
I could have sworn that the original premise behind the Mirror Walls is to combo with monsters that have battle-damage effects (ie Zaloog/Scorpions). Just saying.
It has Great Potential, However I do Belive That the Perfect Machine King Has a Bit To High a Cost, However Considering the Effect...Heh. Close To How many Times You Belive to have him out on the field, Unharmed, and Sucessfully Attacking the opponent for at least One turn, Can Prove to be Very Rare, IN my oppinion, Lose The king.....Unless Of cource You Want to Keep Him. Over All the deck looks Great, And the over all Originality Of the Deck Is Complete. Id say Keep the king around and test Him over and Over again and agian, to see how well He does.
Id also Say Maybe Side Deck the y, and z Peices For the Dragon, That Way You have another Suit of Armor to go with the Complete Machine King Theme.....
