the finals was sergio's 4civ against my 3civ. He won the first game, I won the second, he won the third.

Hi cecillbill i was the lowly brother in 3rd i played a similar deck as Yodaz but took alot of it out mostly the melfolk engine and other stuff out i would say 60% of the deck was gone or at least what we believe to be i added more rush and added yellow blockers and holly awe. all props to Yodaz he is a great friend. what i like about this guy is that when you meet him he is a humble nice guy willing to help anyone he put together a deck with 4cc that when we all looked at it we all laugh we did not think much of it until we saw how his deck flowed we realize how wrong we were. my brother used more control melfolk engine,and blue
Yodaz had said that if he did not go he would lend the list to my brother only thing was we never got the chance to get it from him on time. so we made the best of it. I obted to remove blue. Sinister that dragon!!! of hell is still giving me nightmares..lol.. good duels.. yeah my brother beat me i could,ve taken him on one game but he totally controlled me corile+corile+corile = a world of pain ..lol..if Yodaz would,ve went i have no doubt he would,ve taken this event. burst shot worked great cecillbill i prefer this than searing but running both should work well.

chickmasterzz you can,t avoid this now its so hard to keep up. i know because if you ask around in my meta ..i have brought more diverse decks to play than anyone i mean i hate copying a deck or parts of a deck but when something works you just can,t help this.everyone copies something of some deck or the other its just human frailty. In my meta there is a guy who i won,t mention his name who does just this. card for card he copies everything we call him the "Netdecker" i was anti melfolk to the end but i ended up using it in some of my decks because its just brutal.I mean sh1at!!! i should,ve left it in for the phily tournament but changed it at the end. Hey jaqueton, thanks for posting! 3rd place at a major con--that's hardly lowly; I'd say that's sweet man. Congrats & great job. Yeah, yodaz is a great guy from what I gather thru his posts. Before he started posting here I like forgot how good 4cc was, lol, being so wrapped up in my Green-Blue-Black. The last time I played a 4cc, before getting back into it after Survivors due to Twin, was back post-Rampage for like 1 tourny, lol.

Ah, so you're the Burst Shot player. Nice. Mad respect. I wonder, what prompted you to add Light blockers and Holy Awe and remove the Blue? That is very interesting and sort of the way JP players run 4cc--using Light's blockers--a later set has a cheap Light blocker that has a Thrash Crawler effect so they use that one--tho they often remove Nature and do it Light/Darkness/Water/Fire. Your deck sounds very intriguing.

Thank you cecillbill i see so many U/B control decks and speed R decks ,1000+ creatures that i felt burstshot was better and it showed. i mean i beat a scary U/B 1st , and a R/B/U 2nd game an in both decks burst shot was very painful. I was doing good until a Sinister creature and a Elephant smashed through ..lol..but in both of my losses i could,ve done things differently. I like bringing a different theme to play mind you i threw this together using some elements of grandmaster Yodaz and ideas that had been brewing for sometimes. i have a note book full of ideas plus my brother works a graveyard shift and has all the time in the world to work things out while i sleep..lol..(let me stop we are not taken this that serious ARE WE?):confused: ;) . yellow blockers because ooh i hate seeing my blocker tilted to the side looking at the other creature like some kind,ve flounder fish or something and resetting and not being able to punish a over zealous opponent...lol...i was able to beat a G/U rush with Dualfangs and Barkwhip again burst shots made crow-wingers run for cover.
