Since LaDD Special Summoning activates in a chain, you can't activate Bottomless Trap Hole correct?
(I'm trying to prove this to someone who's trying to screw me over. But I know i'm right i just need proof for this situation.)
1.) You mean LaDD or Van'dalgyon? If LaDD, then why are you asking in this thread? It'd be better to make a new one. In any case, LaDD can be Bottomless'd, sure. But if Bottomless is Chain Link 1, LaDD will just negate it. Feel free to activate something else first, then chain Bottomless to LaDD's effect, though, that'll work perfectly.
2.) If Van'Dalgyon, he activates his Special Summoning effect in a new chain, so as long as Van's effect is Chain Link 1, he can be Bottomless'd.
Now "Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord's" Special Summon effect starts a new Chain. After it is successfully Special Summoned, it will start a second Chain when it activates its "Special Summon 1 monster from your Graveyard" effect.
I already clarified that a few posts back:
It begins a new chain because the effect triggers, the summon itself, does not trigger anything.
I'm sorry, what? You're saying you agree with me, and then say the summon itself does not start a chain? Which is it?
Also, in your previous post, you clearly stated that Van'Dalgyon does not use the chain to summon itself:

However, the ruling in the link I posted clearly states that Van'Dalgyon uses the chain to summon himself, just like Treeborn Frog or Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys. It is a Trigger effect (which has a Spell Speed of 1) that activates after the current chain with the Counter Trap fully resolves, and after he summons himself, ANOTHER Trigger effect starts a new chain where one of his three effects take place.
Also, it answers the OP's question: Van'Dalgyon summons itself on a new chain.
yes that states that Van'daglyons special summoning effect starts a new chain, what it means is that After it was special summoned, In the example that was used, It will start a new chain to special summon one monster from the graveyard. it is not saying that Van'daglyon's special summon from the hand starts a new chain.

Read it a little more closely...

If the Special Summon effect that "starts a new chain" (in the first line) is the one that summons the monster from the Graveyard, then just what is this "second chain" (in the next line) which is after the new chain that was started in the first line? Doesn't make much sense, does it? ;)
Van'Dalgyon uses the chain to Special Summon itself from your hand. That is the only answer that makes any amount of sense, even in the crazy world of YGO.
