There are two that swap ATK and DEF. Shield and Sword is a oneshot, but the machine and warrior one only is Weapon Change, a continuous spell that you pay 700 to do.

No, switching the ATK and DEF of the monster will not let it work as the monster is checked AFTER it hits the Graveyard. Once it's in the Graveyard, any modifications will be "reset".

Stumbling, Blade Rabbit, Swarm of Scarabs, Guardian Statue/ Golem Sentry, etc.

They'd work with Broken Blocker and provide a soft lock. Stealth Bird could work well as a win condition, especially since you can search it out via Broken Blocker in two's.

Well, the slight problem with Stumbling would be that it'd make Broken Blocker really slow since the Defense Position monster still has to be destroyed in battle. Stumbling will end up delaying it for a turn. Adding that with relatively high (for this game anyways) DEF strength, and that lessens the chances since, thanks to Stumbling, the opponent will be forced to use effects more to kill off your monsters. (Not like it isn't done a lot anyways x_x)
