Maybe God boxes were to exchance or bring attention to draft/sealed play? I'd bet if UDE wanted to, they could use a couple God boxes for their sealed events at a huge tournament or something. It could make for some crazy times.

Another thought is that with these God boxes on the loose, it creates some banter between players then everyone goes out and tries to hunt down these 5 in 1 packs. Its not advertised but through word of mouth, players will want to see if they can get their hands on some. Its like any contest in a candy bar/soda/cereal...when you buy any of these, chances are "x product" may or may not contain "y bonus". So its like a little incentive to buy more than usual. Do you buy the soda with the possible prize under the cap or the one that doesn't? So do you buy the TCG that has God Boxes or that doesn't? Its all in whats more appealing to the consumer.

Don't laugh in another game, I knew a guy who was doing that because there was 1 really good Uncommon, which he didn't get in his god box.
