Originally posted by Zyx Whitewind Hey is this the first time League of Assassins made it so high in a 10K? Or is it teamed up LOA? Just remember hearing LOA was low tier till recently.
Um, nope. The League has been in the top eight of the last two (constructed) 10k's or so (that's with Dr. Light roaming free too)... And yes, before someone else mentions - all of those decks involved team-ups.
lol and people said that curve was going to be less powerful i laugh at those people lol and i laugh again but ya i got my money on jonesy to win it all hes been one of the most conistant players on tour up to date.... and thats my line and im sticking to it..

I got my money on adam prosak for the san diego t0k and Hans for the munich 10k they too are also very consistant
was it just me, or was the coverage of this event less than stellar....there were only TWO feature matches all day, and the round summaries weren't summaries, it was the reporter just walkin by the tables looking at the matches. Considering the importance of this tournament to the meta, i am really disappointed in the coverage. Someone needs to get on the horn and tell them we need Gary Wise back...FAST!
You better be proud of your little brother. Top 8 at a 10K, now thats impressive.
Good luck to Little Ruiz.
CP-
What else can I say Jonsey and Prozac are one of the most calculating players that I know. That alone can atone to their consistancy. Good luck to all.
Yo TBZ it's good to see you with your confidence again.
Originally posted by Like Is it just my bad math or is that Assassin-Friends deck only 59 cards?
That happens almost every time for very understandable reasons. We sit here and scream for decklists while The Guy With The Coat and the rest of the Metagame crew try to read some nasty, nasty handwriting. Imagine trying to type up 150 of those things. Yikes.
I knew that Curve wasn't going to go down, which is why I've kept playing it since December, it's just too consistant and the fact that the spots for plots can continuously be switched for other cards to adapt to the meta makes it even better.
It's the best rounded deck type out there and will continue to be a presence in the meta for months to come (Lord knows what Sentinel love will come out in Avengers...) Funny enough I look at all the top 8 curve decks and they're all running something different, most look a lot like my own build, with the exception that I'm running 2 Have A Blast!.
Props to Jones for using "No man escapes the Manhunters" as well.
Watch out, Joe Bryan coming up in the world. Watch out for "His" future deck creations, they are always very interesting. I'm just glad you've put down some of those monstrosities and decided to play THE deck to beat, CS.
However the field lacked Titans and New School, which San Diego was chock full of. I'll assume from just looking at numbers (no testing) that Titans or New School could beat MK Concealed? /shrug
You gotta love the pumps though...
4 Savage Beatdown
4 Crime and Punishment
4 Crushing Blow
4 Flying Kick
2 Punisher’s Armory
.. ouch
Also Death-Stalker over Stick is an interesting decision. Not one I would have seen.
