I have a wedding and honeymoon coming up next year. Couple that with Christmas and you have a whole lot of money not going towards gambling on the metagame.
1. I suck.
2. it's expensive and I'm going to be paying off the trip to Disney World forever.
3. Work.
4. hopefully I can picl up the needed pc points at the local pcq this weekend, not that there are really any pros in my area to begin with, but it's worth the shot.
LA is actually quite cheap to get to for me, and has the added advantage of providing a holiday along with the gaming, so why ain't I there? Coz PC Indy still hurts!
Can't wait for the coverage though, this looks to be a really wide metagame, and there's lots of predictions to be proven right/wrong about what will actually cut the mustard.
Just started new job, can't go to L.A. to play or judge. Four of my store mates are there, if they make day 2 they will make money. Wtach out for Kral Horn.
After getting married and going on a honeymoon I have no vaction dyas or real money left to travel to a PC. Add in the fact that my wife isn't sold on the idea of me playing since I haven't won any money yet.
I've managed to hit the first PC Indy and 2 10Ks since I started playing but never finshed in the money. Heck I haven't won a PCQ yet, just top 8'd enough to qulaify for another PC.
I was strapped for cash since I spent so much money to go down and help those in South Louisiana when the Hurricanes hit. Everything down in that area was simply rediculous with how much stuff was costing. So when I made it back to Dallas, I came back to no job (but I have a better one now) and some past due bills. So it was either go to LA or get back on my feet and get these bills off my back. Life won the toss up hands down. LOL. There is always PC Atlanta though and I am making arrangements for that one now. I hope all of us that couldn't make it to LA make it there.
