PCs are really fun, even when I suck. They are like a mad carnival or something. Get the skill built up to qualify... then meet me in Atlanta for the next one!
I haven't played in enough PCQs to get enough points. I totally hated the DC Modern environment, so I didn't play much or well at the constructed portions. I also don't feel that I'm good enough to make it worth traveling to a distant area for a tournament like that. The lack of a real pro team means I'm not likely to get any real testing or tech to stand much of a chance.
I'm very much intending to be in Atlanta, though. It helps that I live in the Atlanta area, too, so it gets around the whole traveling issue.
Not really, you guys aren't that lucky. I had to cancel my flight at the beginning of the week to go to an interview today. Wish I could've missed it :( We would've had the entire FTN lineup present too. That will have to wait till Atlanta now.
I'll try and give realms some PC updates as I talk to the team throughout the day.
I can however tell you that the winner of the Amsterdam marvel vs Indy DC showdown on sunday between Adam Horvath and David Leader will be....
Jason Dawson.
I'll explain that one later, but it ain't hard to guess.

I already have the constructed skill(when I have a good deck) and I have as many 8-man JLA drafts(1) as I've had for the INDY formats.
It was fun meeting you in Indy.
Albeit Friday was kinda awkward. Saturday it was much better.
By Sunday, I think we had figured out each other enough to where we should have gone and had a drink or three.
If you are within 6 hours of Atlanta and have some friends to split the costs, you have no reason not to attend. There will be plenty for you to do even if you don't have the 10 PCC's.
work, money, timing....its hard to get off two to three days right before thanksgiving, even for us lawyers ;) but, i will be represented well by spooky and aqualad...
Man, I live in New York and we never get nothing on the northeast coast. It's so unfair. I wish I lived in cali, they have like six major events every year.
