I don't know what to think of Bizzaro is seems so fun reading tournament reports about it, but would probably drive me crazy since you have to expect every legend centric plot twist in existence from it. Seems like it will be one of those decks that i would love to play and hate to play againist
Thanks for the pics. I hope someone will consider coming to Chicago/New York to do the same thing. One question though: any reason there's no art on the playmats other than the VS System logo?
because these were independently created so, legal things beings as they are, they couldn't print them with copyrighted art. sorry. :cross-eye

Next, Mike attacks with Wonder Woman… Pat bricks again with the double power up. Mike passes.

Pat WINS game 1.

Turn 3

Before the draw effect can go off, Pat flips and activates Ego, The Living Planet to lock up the Soul World. Chemo KO’s to replace the Living Planet.

Mike: 10 Pat: 25
Turn 6
Mike plays the new “discard your hand” Bizarro and pays 3 to get the Helm back to complete the set. He then transfers the Fate stuffs onto Biz and discards down to 1 card. Pat plays a 6-drop Bizarro of his own, this time it’s the “I have no idea what this guy does, OMG! I’m so confused… HUH!? WTF?!?!?” Bizarro.
Both players, being so soul-crushingly dumbfounded by the ludicrousness of the new 6-drop text, decide that, “#$%@ it.”
Mike scoops.
Pat WINS and advances to the Finals to face teammate and fellow baller, Joe Bryan.
UPDATE: Joe decides, being the classier of the two, to concede to the masterful Patrick Yapjoco. Congrats Patrick and congrats to Team Edgeworld!
Good Morning Realms! Day 2 of the SoCal MW is about to start, so far we have almost 40 players for the Modern Age Constructed. I'm going to try and do coverage for every other round, but the Galactus sign-up sheet is filling up, so my duties as a Devourer of Worlds may conflict with my desire to get you up to the minute coverage.
Anyways, we'll see what happens in a few rounds.
Coming of Galactus Update:
Galactus is 2-1 as of yesterday facing Doom/IG/MK, Doom/IG/FF and Doom/IG/DE. In his one loss, Galactus had just awoken from a long, deep slumber when he was blindsided by a 86/86 rampaging Hulk. But don't let that minor slip up fool you, Galactus is ready now and hungrier than ever.
