Actually, I only twice remember seeing anything Superman before I was like ten. Once was super old cartoons on VHS, and the other was the Zod movie. Other than that I largely found Superman on my own when I picked up the Generations graphic novel at a garage sale.

Yeah but there's a reason you're the "avatar" of one of the first monstrous legends. I wouldn't put you in "protective of people" like Sully and Hellboy so now - along with Daimio's Neutral - flips my suspicions back on JP.

Yeah. I'm not sure how I feel about Hellboy in this context. "The Gates of Hell" being a kidnapping/silencing kind of thing, too, could mean something there.

Night 2: A Night in the Jungle
The clown saw what looked to be a little boy, dressed up for the holiday. Coming up from behind, it hit him over the head. The clown carried him off, throwing him in the back of a broken down bus. It would entertain the boy further later.

The duo flashed a badge, one wisecracking seemingly insane theories and the other disbelieving even in the face of mounting evidence. They found the man-shaped thing, and cuffed it. "We are going to need another agent in the field," one said over the phone, and smiled when he heard an affirmative response.

The aquatic monster shook its head, as it swam through the jungle river. Ever since it encountered those strange plants, it couldn't seem to concentrate. Suddenly, it heard a voice in its head. "What you seek is just ahead." Swimming forward, it found where the river met the ocean. Up from the depths, a great shape rose. The aquatic monster vanished in a flash of light.

Elsewhere, in a playground, the group of swearing monsters came across a tall monster, following children as they played. Attacking as one, the tall monster fell.

In a small town, a clown was suddenly surrounded by many figures. After a while, she followed them, small wounds covering her body. She didn't seem to care.

Iceman425 is dead! He was the Gillman (Town), classic movie monster from The Creature from the Black Lagoon.

vlad3theimpaler is dead! He was Slender Man (Town), a new sort of horror invented by the internet.

I'm just going to come out and warn: someone really wants me out of this game. I had a suspicion about N1 and the swearing creature's actions on N2 make me feel I got lucky. However, I'm still "suffering" as I've been informed I've a "greatly lowered voting threshhold" today. Feel that's worth noting because if people go to rush a pressure train, for whatever reason, I think it needs close scrutiny as it's likely known to them I don't take much to lynch today. So, rather than stay mum, I'm taking away that advantage early.

Seems like Scully and Mulder doing the hand cuffing, I think. Gonna go back and look at the write-ups real quick to see if anything else pops.

The noob side of me is always concerned that I'm silenced and screwing up, but then I realize that odds are I'd be told in-depth what happens to me during the night, which would include being silenced, so that's kind of stupid

Yeah. Feels like Scully and Mulder (and personal paranoia makes me feel someone's trying to use people's RL / FB knowledge of me to make me look bad).

I also feel pretty certain Twisty from AHS is in the opening paragraph and Ice got taken out by...Cthulhu? Gojira?

Things I've noticed:

- the swearing monsters were put under a spell N1... just flavor, or some type of recruitment?

- Guessing the clown from the beginning and end of the write-up is the same? The Stephen King one is the only one I'm familiar with

- Wondering what the many small wounds thing is. It's not a kill and I don't think it's the silencing either

That seems likely to me... I'm thinking that looks like a recruitment.

Oh duh, I missed that the clown followed them. Yeah, that makes sense.

Although that makes the swearing spell even more strange.

Would Scully and Mulder be the SK then? Unless we have a couple of mafias..

I'm trying to think of female clowns but my mind keeps getting up on Harley Quinn.
