No, I haven't been able to pick up either yet. The Superman FF were supposed to be at my FLGS on Wednesday as we were scheduled to be one of the people to get them early, but since our store is "Sister Store" to a store closer to Chicago and we order things through them they get first pick and somebody (For lack of better term) Neckbearded them all so my store never got any. We'll get them Dec. 7th like everybody else, I guess.
As far as the TRU exclusives, I've had the TRU website in my favorites on my computer since the day they were announced, but I keep getting sniped. I can't ever find them available. Patience is my friend though.
Arrrgh. Why? WHY???????????????? (one rhetorical question followed by another)
I hate to learn of stuff like that, as it really tests the notion that clix players have a sense of community (and good karma that comes with community members looking out each other).
Maybe it's the fact that Thanksgiving's next week, but I'd like to think that a turkey might modify his greedy gobbling if he overeats just once too often --- that is, before he really loses his head.
Maybe if that neckbeard (you know, I STILL love the expression) got stuck with his loot, he wouldn't be so quick to gobble up the next batch.
Tim Burton was right: "A square jaw does not a Batman make." Steve Buscemi as the next Batman! Luke Perry as Joker! Let's make it happen!
GK didn't get their SMFF packs either. Guess I'll be waiting a while. Not like it matters, I guess. As I don't have time to play right now anyway.
Howdy, Jeremiah! Good to see you --- not only a working man, but a HARD working man!
Somebody once observed that among the employed, there's the hard working and the hardly working. Since I log a grand total of 24 hrs. (sometimes a tad more) a week, I guess I'm in the latter group.

Look at it this way. It's more than I'M doing!

Looked at the Gravity Feed Leader and I'm generally pleased with the options.
This firmed up an earlier thought into a full decision, though: For home games in Mike's World the main set's Leader's Humanoid Regrowth Chamber Trait will be transferred to the Humanoids themselves, making it dependent upon there being someone named Leader or The Leader being on the same team. So long as the Leader's part of the build these guys should have the same shot at being replaced. It was silly to put it on just one version of Leader, and as I look at the two dials, the main set one's being 10 pts less, I honestly don't see where it seriously entered into the point calcs for ol' Greenie anyway, considering the opening Stealth, TK, and not only wall-to-wall Outwit but a special double-Outwit version on the first half of the dial if he doesn't target Defense powers.

Speed - Your Will Is Weak: The Leader can use Mind Control, and doesn't take damage from Mind Control based on the point values of hit characters. Damage - I Am Always Five Moves Ahead of You: The Leader can use Perplex. Opposing characters can't target friendly characters' defense values with Perplex.

Trait - Humanoid Regrowth Chamber: When a friendly character whose name included "Humanoid" is KO'd, you may roll a d6 that can't be rerolled. On a roll of 5 or 6, place a character with the same name and point value on click #2 in your starting area.
Damage - I Can't Stop Your Brute Strength, But My Mind is Far Superior: The Leader can use Outwit. Once per turn, if he uses it to counter a power or ability that isn't a defense power, he can immediately use it again to counter another power or ability that isn't a defense power.
I see that the LotR release has been moved back a week to the 7th. I feel sorry for the people looking forward to it, between those who had venue events scheduled and those who'd simply hoped to get the chance to try them out over a small holiday break.
Well, then, I'll suggest you hang in there, keep the faith and be glad you're married to a good woman (and don't forget to tell her early and often how good, especially since your bride -- like mine -- is the big breadwinner at this time).
And to quote the one person at the unemployment center who didn't keep telling me how when one door closes, another one opens: "It don't hurt to stay one step ahead of the posse...especially when they're closin' in."
Tim Burton was right: "A square jaw does not a Batman make." Steve Buscemi as the next Batman! Luke Perry as Joker! Let's make it happen!

That giggle you heard was brought to you by Mrs. Soxolas, who has been using her promised purchase of the LotR starter for her husband as a wonderfully effective carrot-tied-to-stick.

Hey, at least you CAN quote the people at your unemployment center. None of the people at mine speak English.

Heh. Such can be the way of things. As with any of these sets, the delays are only telling in the short term, leading up to it. In no time they arrive and become part of the Old Stuff... and soon all the attention's going toward the next big thing heading toward us.
Like Colonel Kurtz, I'm operating on my own, without any restraint, buying too many of these things while not finding the time & opportunity to play them.

It can't end well.
Kurtz??? You mean that fella who got out of the boat..?
You're right: it didn't end well.
Never get out of the boat, my friend.
(Sorry, couldn't resist.)
And with that...g'night, gents.

I guess how it got started and began to evolve as an accepted practice can be blamed on Dana, Mike and me. I recall that after Dana reappeared in Ogre Land after a long absence, his name was mentioned and someone asked, "Who's Dana?"
Yeah, who's this "Dana" fellow you speak of? I bet he's a good looking fellow with a manly name like that!!!
