If Darkseid instead had a SP that had Impervious and Mastermind top-dial and , would that have been a satisfactory representation?

Anywho, we took my son (22 months old) to Lion King yesterday and we had a lot of fun. He seems to really like Pumba. LOL

That might have been just about perfect. I wonder what that would have done to his cost? It certainly would have went a long way to making him a viable One Man Army. Because unfortunately, without Mastermind fodder, he just isn't all that good. And in a 300 point build, especially in sealed, your options for Mastermind fodder are going to be quite limited.

Oh and I forgot to mention this the other day when the Superman set poster was revealed, but where the heck is Waverider?!?!?!

Hopefully completely forgotten. DC ruined Hawk and Dove to give us that waste of art and story. Monarch was even worse. Both incarnations.

Characters I wanted from the Superman set that aren't there: Waverider, Jimmy Olsen, Desaad, Krypto, Atomic Skull, Brainiac (any version that doesn't look like the BatB version, preferably the green skinned mustached version), Mister Mxyzptlk, Professor Hamilton, Dan "Terrible" Turpin, Kalibak, Female Furies, Maxima.

Oh well, maybe next time.

I would have been happy with any of those characters except Waverider. Though I'd be meh for mustach Brainiac.

Edit: And I held onto some trade fodder that I didn't sell so I can trade for it. (Looking at my HOT Captain America to help me get some of this. )

Besides the CUR and Robot Supes, I want the 4 FP SRs and possibly the Manhunter Grandmaster, but I can hold off on that (still don't have a Supes prime, and only really have SCAM because he was from Crisis).

I'm hoping to find my enthusiasm for the Superman set take an upturn once it hits.

As it's a case coming I expect that I'm reasonably well covered for the CUR -- maybe missing a Rare or two -- though I don't have a handle on the collation they're aiming for with these smaller sets. Do we have confirmation on where the SRs begin? For the moment I'm going pessimistic and presume #45, Flashpoint Wonder Woman, for 10 SRs. Based on that, among the SRs I'm so far only interested in Queen of Fables, Swamp Thing, Darkseid and Black Adam. If the Flash is really special I may want him, too. The Thomas Wayne Batman, militarized Wonder Woman -- and I'm guessing Aquaman, mean little to nothing to me as characters. Dials don't generally sway me off that essential indifference to a character/interpretation of a character. Alternate versions of Superman being the chases, I'm most likely going to view them immediately as trade/resale material.

I think Flashpoint Batman is going to be a high dollar SR. I hope I pull him so that I might trade him for bigger wants. I'm going to predict he is actually the highest priced SR in the set.

I had thanked you for that in a Rep comment, but decided I should be more public about it, too. Thanks. It was a hard-fought couple of weeks, but for the moment I'm feeling much more relaxed.
