Strange had waves his hands and a magical blast hand knocked Umar to her knees...{such magical power...in a human } she thought as she tried to must up the strenght for an incantation that would penetrate his mystic shields...to no avail...she was sorely injured from the blast...and summoned the tree back to defend her.

You try all you can, but your magicks are of no use. You face the sorcerer supreme, not a foolhardy man of parlor tricks. Now sentient tree, you yourself shall feel the sting of eldritch blasts!

Umar watched as the animation spell on the tree was dispelled...it hardened and roots stuck into the hard clay roof.

she tried to stand and give forth one final battle, but her eyes met the Mind Witches' and her head swam. she resisted the attempt to pry into her mind for all the details...but as she passed out from the effort a mental picture of her talking to someone about the testing popped into her mind...a mental picture she tried to hide in shadow...a mental picture she was certain the defenders could and would use....
