I think WK must have done Dampening field in lieu of making a Leech figure (or bystander token) - he'd be ULTRA cheep outwit, with the Morlocks TA?! Would make con artists look like V Kang. This way, Leech can be "in game" without breaking it.
This fits Leech perfectly. The little green Morlock was always in the background sight unseen when he first appeared knocking out everyone's mutant powers. I don't know if this was an intentional thing WK did to best represent poor little Leech, but I applaud it.
My only question is: If they're going to give Johnny Blaze Psychic Blast which is presumably to represent his hellfire shotgun -- you know, since he's not a 'mentalist' -- why not put the shotgun on the sculpt?
Well, this could be the early version of Johnny Blaze as Ghost Rider. He didn't use a corny shotgun back then in the good old days. Back then he was able to fire out fireballs that had the exact same effect as Psychic Blast.

Meh. I know not this 'early' Johnny Blaze of which you speak. When I get him, he shall have his flaming head lopped off and replaced with a pony-tailed, sunglasses-wearing, scruffy-biker head. He shall have his hand lopped off, as well, and replaced with a 'corny' shotgun-wielding hand.
The only Johnny Blaze I know is the one from the 1990s Ghost Rider series, and my figure shall be made to look like him. Even Zarathos' thralls shall feel the vengeance of Exacto!

Love all (well, most) of the stuff we've gotten so far. Dial designs are changing, we've got 2 brand new game mechanics to monkey about with, and the Feats and BFCs are gonna put all sorts of great new twists on gameplay. Can't wait for the release. ::Fidgety emoticon.::
So about this Power Dampening Field will your damage be able to be increased above 3 because it dosen't say printed value it just says " Damage values higher than 3 become 3 instead" So will it work like Darkness and Deep Shadows ?
I love the sculpt on Atlas, although using that figure for a mod of Goliath is nigh impossible. Hopefully one of the other Giant size figures will be better for the conversion. In a pinch, I could probably use Yellowjacket I suppose.
Is it just me or Ghost Rider is cheap in comparison to what his stats are? 102 pts for all that wonderful goodness! I wonder if they are going to a different format on how they alot points? I can see him on alot of teams in the future. Great sculpt!!!
Ghost Rider is awesome. I'm actually a little suprised that they made him so focused on ranged combat, though. All 3 versions are highly playable, however.

This is NOT Daniel Ketch Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengence! This is Johnny Blaze stunt cyclist possessed by the Demon Zarathos.
Zarathos had NO chain. He had NO shotgun. He wasn't even really a good guy! Z shot Hellfire from his hands which burned your soul. This is why it passes through armor. It's not an attack on the body. L/C simulates the ability to ride his motorcycle (which is composed of Hellfire, and should have been all red) Straight up and over walls.
He is completely ranged attack. Danny is Close combat and should have had EW for his Penance Stare (also a hellfire attack on a person's soul, but at CC)
Johnny Blaze eventually freed himself of the demon and went on to live a normal life. then Daniel Ketch Ghost rider showed up. Thinking it was Zarathos ruining lives again he went to kill him using magic rituals and Shotgun (for when magical rituals arent enough ) Ghost Rider "Charged" the shotgun and let it shoot Hellfire.
Later it was determined that Johnny had the hellfire inside him and GR continuity/origins got horribly screwed up.
However these arent' Johnny Blaze these are ghost rider. if they make one for JB as a LE then he should be similiar to the Vetren without the damage reducing powers.
Regardless the only thing wrong with this figure is the non red motorcycle Althougth he did use many different types)and He could arguabley have IMP. Both GR could. Though INV is a fair compromise. And that's about it. even the numbers are good. 10 AV and 17 Def. Maybe a Defenders TA, but Honestly I don't remember that. I know he was a member of the CHAMPIONS, but I never read ANY Defenders so I'll take others word on that..
Everything looks great and I am soooo looking forward to this set. They should have used Juggernaut's picture on "Unstoppable."

It doesn't specifically say whether or not the move action has to be part of using the card. Spidey with pounce will become the most broken thing in the game, if he already isn't, if this card allows this.
Man oh man, I’m loving that Ghost Rider. He’s almost completely immune to Battlefield Conditions and opposing defensive feats. He doesn’t do more than 3 damage, so Power Dampening doesn’t work. His R and E versions don’t have a range higher than 6, so he’s fine with Darkness and Deep Shadows. He doesn’t have Outwit or Perplex, so White Noise is fine. He’s not stealth, so Bright Lights works great for him. He has Psychic Blast, so he cuts through Fortitude like butter. And he doesn’t have any TAs, so feel free to throw down Disassembled!
Only Rookie Thug is more immune...

Great set nonetheless!
You can only use the Break Down walls as a Free Action if you are using a Move Action. So when you activate Unstoppable with a Power Action (like Charge or Pounce) you can still ignore Hindering Terrain but you can't bash down any walls.
Look for Unstoppable to be on every HSS fig of 3 + damage...
