I can't wait to get my hands on dampening field! That will probably see as much use as ordinary day. Unstoppable looks good, but one of those that may or may not come in handy in a given game.
<Insert clever remark or funny historical quote here.>
Ghost Rider is awesome. I'm actually a little suprised that they made him so focused on ranged combat, though. All 3 versions are highly playable, however.
I know that I will be playing teams that combine V Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze) with LE Daniel Ketch. 200pts of motorcycle madness.
Not to mention the fun of having the FF Ghost Rider make a RS while carrying Daniel close enough for Dan to charge in next turn. Ghost Rider transporting Ghost Rider. So, do they lock chains and have Johnny tow Danny or what?
Joker is a WTF kind of peice, and that's how he SHOULD be!
I think WK must have done Dampening field in lieu of making a Leech figure (or bystander token) - he'd be ULTRA cheep outwit, with the Morlocks TA?! Would make con artists look like V Kang. This way, Leech can be "in game" without breaking it.
I think Ghost Rider looks like a strong tactical piece - he can run and gun nearly all the time, except if he gets based. But Shake Off is a good feat, since it would act like a deterrent, because he can break off and do damage. On his L/C clix, this would be a good trick.
How about Unstoppable on Count Nefaria! No more hindering terrain tying him up!
Yeah, finally this 200+ pts figure can be used at all. Well, that is after you've spent a few more points for a feat...
*sigh*
Nevertheless, it's a nice feat for many bruiser type figures. The option to destroy walls with a move action is pretty useful. Too bad though, you can't use it on a Charge.
Man oh man, I’m loving that Ghost Rider. He’s almost completely immune to Battlefield Conditions and opposing defensive feats. He doesn’t do more than 3 damage, so Power Dampening doesn’t work. His R and E versions don’t have a range higher than 6, so he’s fine with Darkness and Deep Shadows. He doesn’t have Outwit or Perplex, so White Noise is fine. He’s not stealth, so Bright Lights works great for him. He has Psychic Blast, so he cuts through Fortitude like butter. And he doesn’t have any TAs, so feel free to throw down Disassembled!
He’s probably among the most cost-effective figs we’ve seen in the current metagame. You’re only getting what you pay for, and there’s no way for your opponent to deprive you of it.
