Simon hefted the boulder he had picked up right at the beginning of the conflict. He had to believe that Scarlet Witch and Hawkeye could hold their own. No matter what his personal feelings might urge him to do, he knew that this battle was pivotal for more than the lives of his friends or even of his own life. His strength could well turn the tide in this fight, and he advanced.

Free: Black Knight will move to G3,F4. Diagonal and adjacent to both Enchantress and Lorelai.

2. She-Hulk will L/C her way to N10, picking up the HO that Thor dropped in M8 along the way.

Oh, I changed you TAP total Vance..................but if you don't mind me asking(just curious really) is there any reason why you keep track of your TAP total mid-game? There's nothing wrong with it of course.................it just seems like one more thing that needs to be kept track of.

Still a hit, I'll just used natural damage(2) and Panther will be KOed, Croc will take 1 for the push.

2) Loki(11) will use Psi-Blast to target both Ironman(16+1) and Hawkeye(15+1), roll...................6,1 for 7(again ), that's enough to hit both so Loki won't be using his PC. All damage will go to Ironman, Tony take 3.

As Loki watched on his minions were advancing as planed. His half brother the brute, was still out and he had dropped that accursed Hammer. Loki started to contemplate how much fun he could have destorying that hammer as his chained hal-brother watched...............but then he snapped out of his fantasy.

That is what had allowed Thor to squeak out his victories when ther were children. But Loki was no longer a green child. He was God and he would not be his own undoing........not this time.

As he looked down ad the black clad warrior that had just scratched his armor he signaled to Executioner.

"This creature's presence is not welcome, I wish him to be gone."

Executioner didn't even repy he just hit Panter with a cross that sent him sprawling to the ground, motionless.

Loki could now see a figure comleatly covered in technology.

"How amusing, you think that your Midgaurd technology will be enough to thwart my will," mused Loki, "But one should never put ones faith in something so fraglie."

As he finished talking Loki tossed a rock from the ground at the iron clad warrior. But as it travled it changed to three hand sized bugs that latched on to the armor and started to create a magical rust where they touched.

Loreli and the enchatress both nodded at each other and lept past Tigra to lay Black Knight low. They both turned to reguard their single opponent. Lorelie smiled coyly, "I've never been found of cats..............evil creatures."

As She-Hulk lept over Ulik he noticed the emerald beauty and saw a chalange worthy of his attention............but as he started towards her that small insect flew right into his eye, causeing him to pause.

"Yeaargh!" screamed Iron Man. "These things are eating through my armor!" He fired his repulsor rays at Loki, but missed. Ant-Man, too, sent his insect friends on a foray to distract the Norse trickster, but Loki remained beyond their influence. Hawkeye took advantage of the Executioner's fatigue, as the axe-man remained still after expending himself knocking out the Black Panther. Hawkeye's arrow hit the muscular enemy, but Clint knew that there was still a mighty struggle ahead of them.

I'm real happy about Wasp's hit but I wish Cap woulda gotten Loki. Oh well. My team sure is shrinking too. Good thing Mike's team is still going strong. We can win this yet!

Hey Mike 2 things.................first, if you want one of your figures that has stealth showing (and it would come into play) you have to 'turn off' the power...........sounds picky but to give Wanda PC it would have to give Loki LoS as well in this case.

Second, you missed Loki's PC re-roll on Hawkeye's attack. Could you roll that please..................sorry.

Yeah, i know about that 'turning off' of the optional power of Stealth so that Wanda could help with PC. I also realize that i forgot to mention that Ant-Man opted to turn the power off for a moment during his attack. At local tournaments, i've seen this used only for the moment of the attack, and then the power came right back. Even though i forgot to mention Ant-Man's 'turning off' the power momentarily, i thought it would be alright. If my 'turning off' Stealth means it would be off for an entire turn (i.e. during your turn, too), then i need to learn the rules better and i probably wouldn't have done that with Ant-Man, instead saving Wanda's PC for Iron Man's attack.

Then with respect to Loki's PC: yup, i forgot that. Question however: if Loki uses his PC during my turn, then he cannot use it again during Lance's turn, right?

Hawkeye's re-roll due to Loki's PC: 6+5=11 (whew!)... So we can continue without too much revision...

Sorry for the oversight.

Oh it's not a proplem.................but it would have to stay off for the remainder of your turn. And while it would be far clearer to add it in a differnet line for on-line play, it'd be just like players puting thier outwit in the same line as thier attack. :shrug:

Yup, just like if Wanda PCed one of Vances rolls that it would be unavailible during my turn.

Glad it still hit..............that would have sucked.

Wonder Man could hear the panting breath of the ugly troll on the other side of the wall, believed he could smell the acrid odor of his breath. The boulder in Wonder Man's hand felt good, solid, of the earth. Wonder Man had a good grip on it. With his super-human strength, it barely hindered him at all as he dashed around the corner of the wall, raised the boulder over his shoulder and brought it crashing down upon the monstrous Asgardian humanoid. It was a blow that would have rendered most super-humans unconscious at once, but Ulik, though he staggered, appeared not to be seriously hurt. Wonder Man's eyes opened wide as Ulik's gaze turned to him...

Just for clarification: so if i 'turn off' Ant-Man's Stealth it is 'off' until the end of my turn, but then back on during Vance's and your turns?
Also: DKnight stipulated at the beginning of the game that the two Avengers teams may not help each other with PC or Perplex, so Wanda can't PC Vance's characters' attacks (i wish she were allowed to!...)

Yes, you have it right. Turning off a power lasts for the duration of your turn where it will automatically come back before the next players turn.

Oh I guess you missed this...................

Perplex wouldn't work because it would end after your turn, PC can be used on Vance but it would be as an 'opponent' not as a teammate.

Oh and as a side note............it wouldn't lead to cross-team assit rule sharing of IAPs.

Not bothering with Leadership rolls anymore.

1. Tigra will attack Lorelai. 7 on a 12. Roll is (1,4). Phew just barely. Loki can't see so no reroll. 2 to Lorelai and she's past perplex on to enhancement (I dunno why you didn't use her perplex last time when she attacked the Knight. I woulda done that instead of perplexing Ulik's damage. Oh well.)

2. I'm feeling lucky this time so Cap will push to try and hit Loki once more. He's stealthed so no reroll. 9 on a 15 + 1. 7 or better. Roll is (6,3). Nice. 1 to Loki thanks to armor piercing. He's off PC. But he now has outwit... We'll have to see if this proves worthwhile. And Cap finally got an IAP!

3. With no Loki to pC her She-Hulk feels confident about her chances so she'll throw her HO at Ulik. (Thanks for leaving me the shot Mike, I was afraid Simon would be blocking it). 8 on a 15 and Ulik's down to toughness. Roll is (4,4). Hits but no knockback due to Wasp (though how Wasp stops Ulik from going backwards is beyond me). 2 damage to Ulik after his toughness. (BTW It's good I had cap attack I did a reroll just to see what woulda happened if Loki PCed Shulkie's attack and he woulda missed).

Well that turn went pretty well. Loki's poised to do some damage with his PB, and if the executioner moves he can outwit Simon's Invuln and have Ulik go to town. So we'll see. The bad guys are all hurting though. Lorelai and Enchantress both have phasing though so they're probably gonna run away from the kitty cat :-(
