"You know, normally I feel that violence is the first refuge of the incompetant, but I think I'm really going to enjoy pounding you," the Beast said, leaping at his dark counterpart.

"Fool, I am you," the Dark Beast said avoidig his attack. "I know your moves, I've had all your training, and more! And I am far more ruthless than you could ever be."

The Beast glanced for a moment over his evil doppelganger's shoulder. Then he lunged at him. The Dark Beast took a step backwards - right into a portal to another dimension that Clea had opened up.

"Don't think I can't be ruthless if I need to," the Beast said as Clea closed the portal, locking the Dark Beast away forever.

Only Clea's quick magical interference saves him.

"Beloved? Are you well?" she asks.

"Better...for seeing you..." he says.

Creed's going to have to breakaway from Clea and Charge to R13 to make that attack on Namor work. Breakaway is 1. Just be sure to change his position next time you post.

Namor took a swing at Sabretooth, but the animalistic mutant was too quick for him and the punch missed. Strange tried to cast a spell at him, but he was too weakened by Magneto's attack to focus properly.

"Magneto..." Strange said. "He's the leader here. He's the most dangerous, but he's keeping us distracted with his minions. We've got to get to him."

"Then that is what I shall do," the Silver Surfer said. He flew past the others, too quickly for them to stop him and hit Magneto with a power blast.

"I had heard your power was considerable," Magneto said, analyzing the Surfer's attack and dismissing it as insignificant. "Obvisouly your reputation is greatly exaggerated.

I'm glad to be able to get onto the site tonight. I tried all night last night and again this morning and couldn't get on at all.

Giving some precedence to this game, since I think the X-Men/Legion game isn't likely to last too much longer, while this one I can see lingering for a while.

"All true," Magneto agreed. "Except that not even you have the power to stop me, Namor." He repulsed the Sub-Mariner with a magnetic field.

"If you believe that, then you do not know the Sub-Mariner," the Silver Surfer said, whittling Magneto's defenses down a little more with a blast of power. "He will not rest until you are defeated, nor will any of us."

"Sorry, kittycat, hands off our magicians," Dr. Spectrum said. He used his power prism to create a gigantic mastiff that seized Sabretooth in its mouth and shook him violently before tossing him carelessly into a wall.

"And a spell from me, should ensure that his healing factor is slowed enough that he will trouble us no further today," Dr. Strange said, suiting his deeds to his words.
