@Karduk: You should definitely count yourself lucky. I'd actually say you had a more "cheesy" team than the guy playing Thor/Loki especially since he didn't want to Thunderbolt to mystic to be more sporting/less cheesy or whatever. This is a fun figure and if played correctly can be devastating, but it is also very beatable.
Just wanted to point out that not counting for critical hits, this figure can dish out 30 damage in 2 turns without taking a click for pushing. Damage perplexed to 8. Duo attack, first for 8 then for 7. Repeat.
These guys really should have had charge on their clicks with battle fury; otherwise its far too easy neutralize them once you make them take 3 clicks of damage other wise they are a beast
I played this figure for the first time yesterday. Me and 2 other guys decided to play 600 points so I could field a decent team.
My Team:
Thor and Loki
-Thunderbolts (Arachnos)
-Camouflage
-Protected
White Checkmate *3 (enhancement)
Holiday Killer
Talia (Batman/Superman)
Opponent 1:
Thor (HoT Common)
The Flashes Duo
Fenris Wolf
Opponent 2:
Shazam and Black Adam (280)
Wizard Shazam
Holiday Killer
Max Mercury
Beginning of the game I moved LORE into position next to a chimney on a roof and surrounded him with the checkmates to boost his damage to an 8. Turns 1 and 2 I alpha-striked Opponent 1's Flashes and Fenris Wolf. His response was to throw everything else he had at me. Opponent 2 saw a bigger threat in me and immediately threw Shazam/Black Adam next to me with a perplexed up speed from Max Mercury. I outwitted the defense and killed the shazam dial in 1 hit, he took knockback and i was forced to hit invuln for 3 (5-2).
Long story short, I had killed everything on the board except for the Wizard Shazam and Max Mercury. Max couldn't do anything and Wizard had about 2 clix left. I was on my last 2 clix and I went down, it was a great game I just didn't have enough clix to deal with that big of an army.
Needless to say this is probably one of the most powerful figures out there... I dont understand how someone with KC Superman Chase was unable to destroy this figure, I never field KC without Meteor... LORE is awesome though, I dont ever see a figure his level getting printed ever again.
This figure sucks unless in an at least 400 pt game.
I was at atournament a few weeks ago I pulled the figure and took him out and said hey yal look at this I got a thity dollar heroclix.
So I was all excited and all.
But when it got daown to building a team I looked at the pt cost and said really someone across from me said what and I said I was really ready to play with him but he was like 300 pts or so.
So I put on my ratings that he did not have such a good pt cost.
well aside from the fact that you can't tbolt these guys anymore, they still kick! as far as not being fortitude eligible, who cares. any fig with fort can be a killer, so saying that you'd rather play supes prime w/fort is kinda cheesey actually. and you'd need fortitude on prime for him to stand toe to toe with this beast. sure out wit him and try to knock him down...with whatever you have left on your force, but any fig (excluding obvious ones like galactus etc) that goes toe to toe, no cards-just dials, will get hammered. easily the best duo out there imo.
Truly a monster of a piece. I played a 500 point tournament the other day where one of your pieces had to be a duo and they swept up. I'm usually not a fan of uber powerful figures, but I figured I'd never get a chance to play them outside of casual play. They left Iron Man dented, Captain America denouncing the USA, made Superman believe in magic and went toe to toe with the Justice League ... and won.

All I can say is I'm really tired of hearing people say this is "The best figure in heroclix". First off, three words "Unique Dr Manhattan". Second off, to me, to be the best figure, you have to be incredibly good for your points, like Secret Invasion's Kellog's Spidey, a 50 (55 with lunge) point killing machine. Or Spider-Girl, who is beyond versatile with feats applied. Thor/Loki is a 362 point figure, who plays like a 362 point figure. If I was asked to come up with a figure worth 362 points, I'd come up with something very similar to this probably. Now, if he had this dial and he were 300 points, then he'd be in the running. To me though, he's a "You get what you pay for" figure.
That being said, you're paying for an immensely powerful figure, and that's what you get. I never said this wasn't a beast, just that it isn't the biggest beast in the cage (Note again, Dr Manhattan, less than 300 points, and able to eat this figure if you have even halfway decent dice)
