I honestly don't know anything about his passing away, but I am a history teacher who's made fun of Custer (among a throng of others), so I'd be pretty hypocritical if I didn't pour some well-deserved scorn on freak_x when we get to Sandra. Of course, there will be living people that will get it worse than him...

I know it was highly probable Sandra Wu-San was exploiting gender by using the SWS identity, but I thought we had come further than to refer to a person as "it".

I think the point is that SWS was an immoral d-bag that doesn't deserve anything more than a derogatory comment.
I remember that debacle quite well and was one of those actually concerned for "it" when word got our that "it" was in the hospital etc.
Man that was some drama.

True, but the said post very was very much riddled with implicit transphobia - if we had been talking about someone who was equally vile, but was cis-gendered, do you think the same comment would have been made?
